Chapter 19

Jake POV 

Truth be told when Erika told me she was pregnant I got a little scared. Caleb is only 8 months old and we weren't planning on adding another baby to the mix till he was at least a year and a half. I was scared but yet I knew that this was a good thing. I wasn't here for when she was pregnant last time and now that I'm here I couldn't be happier. I get to do all the things I didn't get to do with her last time this time. 

" baby your like seriously pregnant" I asked Erika as we were laying in bed the next morning waiting on Caleb to get up.

" yes I'm really pregnant. I went to get a test after we left the White House yesterday." Erika said as I laid my head on her stomach.

" I'm scared" she told me as I looked up to see her with tears in her eyes

" I know but we'll be fine I promise. We are gonna have to adjust because they are both going to be young but we are going to do fine I promise." I said as I kissed her lips then Caleb started whining.

" but until that baby gets here we are going to have to take care of our other baby" I said as she nodded and we both got out of the bed and walked to Caleb's room

" you slept in today buddy" Erika said as she picked him up out of the crib and went and changed his diaper and I stood over her shoulder.

" he wanted mama to get a good night sleep didn't he" I said as I tickled his belly when Erika pulled the flaps on the diaper and Caleb giggled. 

" do you want a brother or a sister Caleb. Or do you want both" I asked him as Erika huffed. 

" lord please don't let it be two or more we are gonna be in for it if it's any more than one" Erika said as she picked Caleb up. We walked downstairs and walked in on Makenzie and kade making breakfast in the kitchen

" hey mama and daddy" they said as we rolled our eyes at them

" we're already mama and dada aren't we Caleb" I said as Erika put Caleb on the ground.

" you guys hungry" Kade asked us as we nodded

" should;dn't we be cooking for you" I said as they laughed

" I feel as if this is a congratulations on having a new baby" kade said as I nodded

" fair enough" Erika said as she opened the fridge to get a bottle of water.

" babe" Erika said as she  gasped and turned to look at me

" what" I said as I looked up from my phone

" I dark like three glasses of wine two days ago." she said as she put a hand on her stomach.

" oh ummmm should we go to the doctor and ask them about it."  I asked her as she put her other hand over her mouth.

" oh god I don't know" she said as she let a few tears drop down from her eyes

" I'm sure that its not gonna affect the baby" Makenzie said as she picked up her phone.

" I don't have a doctor yet." Erika said as she sat at the bar.

" ok well lets find one to get you to and then get you an appointment as soon as we can." Kade said as he walked over to us.

" the baby is gonna be fine Erika. Wine doesn't even have that much alcohol in it I'm sure that it won't affect the baby" I said as I rubbed her hand with my thumb. 

" ok I found a few doctors " Makenzie said as she showed Erika her phone.After searching through a fw and picking one Erika called their office and told them what had happened and they scheduled her for an appointment today at 12:00
