Erika POV
Today Jake was supposed to be coming home. I had been flying solo with Caleb for 1 and a half months and I was TIRED. He eats every 4 hours at night and then wakes up an hour after that to have his diaper changed. When Jake gets home he is on poop duty thats of sure. My mom, Jake's parents and Logan ( Chloe stayed home with the twins as she was 8 months pregnant), and me and Caleb drove to Florida to be here when Jake came home. It was a day long trip so I rode with my mom and let Logan drive my car so I could feed Caleb whenever he needed to be fed. Logan would ride back with his parents though since Jake could drive and we would be staying the night in Florida then driving back tomorrow.
7AM
Caleb has just started to cry for the morning letting me know that he wanted to be fed and it was time to get up.
" Good morning buddy, you ready to see daddy"I said as I rolled over and grabbed Caleb out of the bassinet I brought. I laid him on the bed in front of me and took his onesie off grabbed a diaper from the nightstand.
" goodness baby boy you stink" I said as I finished putting a diaper on him and blew raspberry's on his stomach which caused him to smile.
" there that smiley face" I said as I picked him up and cradled him in my arm. I moved my shirt out of the way and allowed him to latch on for the 2nd time that day. Once was at 3:30 and now it was 7:20.
" daddy is gonna be home at 12 today bud you probably don't even remember him though." I said as I ran my hand over Caleb's head.
*ring ring *
" who the hell calls someone at 7 in the morning" I said as I grabbed my phone to see that it was my mom.
" hello"
" hey your up good... do you wanna get breakfast with us at 8"
" umm I guess. I'm feeding the baby right now"
" when did he start eating"
" like 2 minutes ago why"
" how long does he eat for"
" mom I'll be ready by then. He only eats for around 20 minutes in the morning."
" do you want me to pick you up"
" Sure"
" ok can you be ready by 7:45"
" yes"
" ok I'll text you when I get there"
"ok see you then" I said as I hung the phone up
