We arrive just in time to witness the arrival of the witch.

"Jadis, Queen of Narnia, Empress of the Lone Islands," announces a dwarf.

She is seated on a throne (of lies!) carried by four Cyclopes. Ugh, the nerve of that woman!

Lucy turns scared to look at her brothers. I get it, Lucy, the woman is intimidating. I myself don't know whether to be scared or angry. I choose anger since fear is what she wants to spread and I simply refuse to let win, even in the smallest way. Just seeing her there, sitting regaly on that chair, parading herself as Queen makes me feel both nauseous and punchy. Oh, how I would just love to punch that mean, beautiful face of hers.

She stops a few feet before Aslan and they lower her down. She steps down from her seat with confidence, looking directly at Aslan, and then turns to glare in our direction, her eyes fixing on Edmund and then with a look I can only describe as surprise, they turn to me. Yes, I'm alive you bitch, got a problem with that? Have I mentioned who much I want to punch her face?

"You have a traitor in your midst, Aslan." The Witch says coldly and smugly.

Edmund looks down, clearly embarrassed and regretting whatever decisions he made earlier as his siblings all turn to look at him. That is not helping, Pevensies. The poor Edmund looks pale as a ghost. Oh, sweetie, you need to make better choices.

"His offense was not against you," Aslan tells her, defending Edmund.

"Have you forgotten the laws upon which Narnia was built?" But before she can state them she is interrupted by an angry growl from Aslan.

"Do not site the deep magic to me! I was there when it was written,"

"Then you remember well that every traitor belongs to me. His blood is my property." She states smugly.

Suddenly I hear blades being unsheathed and Peter challenges, "Try and take him then" he points his sword at her. Brave, but stupid Peter. I take a step forward, backing him up and take a defensive stand between Edmund and the Witch.

She glares amused at him "Do you really think that mere force will deny me my right, little king?" She says mockingly and then turns to me. "And you, I haven't forgotten about you, lawbreaker,"

Have I mentioned how much I want to punch her and wipe that smug smile off hers? I think I have.

She turns back to Aslan and starts talking, "Aslan knows that unless I have blood as the law demands," she then turns around to face her audience, "all of Narnia will be overturned and will perish in fire and water! That boy" she says pointing at Edmund, "will die, on the stone table. As is tradition."

Peter looks worriedly at Edmund.

"You dare not refuse me!" The Witch says turning now to face Aslan.
