Part 18 |KEEPING UP|

1000, August

We have kept our relationship a secret for two months now. Two months of sneaking around at night, meeting in empty rooms and secret passageways. So far everything's been great, although we've been getting tired of the secret. Edmund found out about us within days of our return from fighting the witch's followers in the north, but we made him promise not to tell anyone. Apart from the funny looks and comments he makes every once in a while about us, I know he just likes to mess with us, everything has been great. Peter and I have agreed to keep things professional and strictly business regarding our work. We've had a few arguments along the way, but nothing we can't solve.

Today my brother and friends from Datram have arrived to stay over for a few days. Tomorrow is Peter's birthday, and there will be a great party at night to celebrate. People from all around have been invited and are arriving to stay here.

We have agreed to make our relationship public sometime after the party. But first I have to tell my brother. I still don't know how to do that. He'll probably flip out. It'll be so much fun! (Note the irony). I think I'll tell Hayley and Rebekah first.
