I levitated in space, it looked as beautiful as it did when Loki and I first made our way out of Asgard and set on our journey. Ah, the good times.
It's quiet, the sound of my own breath occupied the dead air. Soon, another pattern of breath emerged.
"Hello Darling," my eyes shot over to Loki that was standing next to me. Tears manifested in both of our eyes. I leapt into his arms and held him tightly.
"Loki..." was all I managed to get out. I pulled out of the hug to see his face. Bruises encompassed his neck, concern dripped from my face.
"It's okay, darling. I'll be alright," he placed a gentle yet sweet kiss on my lips. My God, the thought of losing him forever was completely unbearable. Our bodies melted together in sweet and utter bliss. I rested my head on his chest and he held me close.
As I pressed my body against his, I noticed the sound of his heartbeat was no longer. I felt him kiss the top of my head and his arms grasp me tighter.
"Please never let go," Loki said as his voice shook with sadness.
