However, Skyler and Mabel have never pulled this close to each other but somehow her brain worries and wants to step away from him but deeply her heart worries not to, she doesn't know how to label her and Skyler's relationship but she considers, do they even belong in a friend-zone any more? where's it leading? This time it might extend beyond.

Skyler shifts closer to her while her heart starts pounding, she never felt it beating like this for someone before, and also she has never been this intimated to any guy before, at least not to one who has suddenly come from nowhere but from her past.

"So you guys are really something?" Feminine voice alerts and they jump apart for the second time this week. From the entrance, Riley proceeds to them with a plastered smirk over her glossy lips.

Skyler casts an immediate smug over his face, "Are you jealous?" He says and slips his hand behind Mabel's back and jerks her close to his side.

Mabel babbles, "Riley, we're nothin', he's just--" she glares at Skyler.

Riley laughs, "I know Mabel... You feel teased by him! But trust me boys like Skyler won't knock at your heart's door and wouldn't wait for your permission to let them in, they would just bang it open and maybe.... they won't even enter. It's not safe to be with them."

Skyler chuckles, losing his grip on Mabel, "Riley, don't scare my Mabel, She is not into your metaphor or dark quotes."

Mabel responds to Riley pushing herself away from Skyler, "Then you might aware of these boy's actions from yesterday!"

Skyler adds, "Riley is not with us, Mabel!"

Riley speaks again, "I'm against them just like you... But I'm also not with you!" Riley's words still put the confusion in Mabel.

"What you doin' here, anyway?" Skyler asks Riley.

She takes a step closer, "I can come to my boyfriend anytime," Then she winks at Mabel, "Can't I?" Mabel starts having thoughts of Riley being in a polyamorous relationship with Dylan and Skyler.

Skyler chuckles looking in her eyes, "Don't tease Mabel please," He tilts his face towards Mabel, "She is a baby."

Mabel responds to Riley, "You can do whatever to your boyfriend." then towards Skyler, "Dare you call me a baby again!"

Riley laughs, "Mabel, I hope, you mind the space between boy and friend."

Skyler takes Mabel's hand in his, she returns with a surprise on her face, as he speaks to Riley, "I've to drop Mabel. Can your boyfriend take a leave from here?"

Riley smirks, looking at their connected hands, "Sure..." Before walking outside the church, she also calls, "Mabel, do remember, my words, Skyler is an A-hole."

Mabel doesn't know how to react to or trust her words when Mabel's hand was held so carefully in his hand and also because this time, she knows, he's not going to leave her alone behind and won't walk away with Riley.

Mabel keeps looking at their connected hands, when they make their way to the parking area, she wonders, how they can leave since his friends also came in the same car, "What about Riley and Dylan?"

He smiles, "They are with seniors they can manage a ride."

When she thought of leaving Skyler's hand she examines, her hand is really small and more fragile compare to his. He opens his palm. Her fingers slowly brush over his touch, sensing the coldness and smoothness of his skin. She lifts her chin and looks at him, wondering how he would have been holding Kristina's hand, his ex-girlfriend. He silently asks, standing close to Mabel, "May I know, your sudden zone out the reason?"
