Birthday

Naomi's POV

We have been living here in LA for a few months now and we flew back home for Lea's birthday in November but now it's my birthday and we are flying home since its going to be Christmas and we want to be with our family.

"Hi sweetie how are you doing?" Lea entered my room.

"I'm alright" I said and she just stared at me.

"So... it's your birthday and I thought we could go eat breakfast since our flight isn't early" she said and waited for my response.

She knows I've been having anxiety around people but it's my birthday so it's alright we'll just see how it goes.

"Yeah sure" I said and Lea looked at me surprised.

"Then get ready so we can get our bags in the trunk and go straight to the airport" she went to get ready and I was left alone in my room.

I tried to control myself because my breathing increased, I went into my bathroom and turned up some music I finally relaxed and took a shower.

I went to my closet and grabbed some ripped jeans a sweatshirt and my vans, before I got dressed I saw my blade in the drawer, I've been thinking about doing it, I need some release but I can't I have 4 months clean and I need to keep going.

I dressed up and closed my door three times then waited until it was 10:30 so that I could finish packing.

I went into my drawer and got my blade and hid it in my bags that would go on the plain, I knew I would regret this because I know I'll end up doing it.

I opened my door three times and went downstairs with my bags and put them in the trunk of the car, Lea had already put her bags in the car so I closed the door three times.

I went to my room and put on little makeup and dried my hair and curled it, I'm not the type of person that likes to get ready but its my birthday and I'm going to see my family.

"You ready baby?" Lea asked knocking on my door.

"Yeah I just have to grab my phone" I grabbed my phone and we headed to iHop.

"Are you ready to see aunt Tiana?" Lea said and I freaked out.

"What is she home?"

"Yeah she wanted to stay during the holidays and mom said yes" I rolled my eyes and just went on my phone.

I mean like it's not that I don't like her but she always figures out everything that's going on I can't hide anything from her we actually have a close relationship but I haven't seen her in like 3 years and she is going to figure out what is going on with me right now and at least I think nobody suspects.

We got to iHop and everything went smoothly, there wasn't a lot of people so I wasn't very worried.

We arrived at the airport and checked in, we went through security and now we are just waiting for boarding time.

We went into the plane and I cuddled into Lea and fell asleep.

I woke up and I still had my headphones in so I took them off and sat straight, Lea just watched me.

"Hey girly we are almost about to land, did you sleep well?" She stroked my hair and I just nodded my head.

We landed at beautiful Denver.
