Naomi's POV
Today mom came home with Cara, she walked so slowly and weakly. She had a tube in which she had to blow and a little ball would go up to certain height, she had to manage to blow it to the top so that we could see she had her strength back, so far it was barely moving.
Mom told me I could stay home with her today because I really wasn't in the mood to go, I woke up very anxious this morning and had a panic attack, I get them often but this one was very bad.
I was laying down with Cara and she was stroking my hair.
"Cara?" I said softly.
"Yes sweetie?" she said looking down at me.
"It's time for your shower and bandage replacement" I said looking at her tired eyes.
"I know, it's just that it hurts so much when I get up or replace my bandages" she said annoyed.
"I know but you have to or it could get infected" I said worried.
She extended her hand for help to get up, I grabbed her hand and placed my other one on her back and help her sort of slide across the bed and stand up.
I touched her back two other times and helped her walk slowly towards her bathroom. She got to the bathroom and went into the shower, I waited outside for her since she didn't want me in her bathroom. She came out in a robe.
"I need you to help me replace the bandages" she said worried as if I wouldn't accept.
"Yeah sure" I said calmly, I have done this before with my cousin so I already know how to.
I grabbed the bandages and cut a gauze in half, I applied the cream the doctor gave her and placed the gauze over it, I placed a bandage around her waist and she thanked me.I went to my room and saw my clean clothes in my bed, I opened my closet and ordered them in my color piles, then I ordered my shoes because they were all scattered around my closet.
I sat on my bed and turn on the TV three times. I laid back and tried to relax for once in my life.
