Lea's POV

November 17, everything happened so fast, the ambulance, the hospital, doctors rushing her in. My baby sister, how could she do this?

I heard Cara and her screaming at each other after lunch, I need to talk to Cara, she hasn't talked or moved since yesterday when we got here.

"Hey Cara" I said sitting next to her and putting my hand on her back.

She turned to see me and what I saw completely devastated me, she had bloodshot eyes and had this dark look in her eyes, she was broken.

"Oh sweetie" I said and hugged her, she started crying and I moved her to my lap.

I stroked her hair and she relaxed a little.

"I-it was m-my fault" she said sobbing.

"Why?" I said, I don't know if she wants to talk about it but I have to try.

"Mmm...yesterday w-we were f-fighting, I-I told her that she was ruining our family and that she just wanted attention" she said and broke down again.

"What?!?" oh no, mom heard.

"Mom just le-"

"Why would you do that?" mom cut me off angrily.

"We were both mad screaming at each other, s-she started it all by screaming she was s-sick of us watching her" she said trying to explain.

"I'm very disappointed in you, your sister has the right to be sick of all of this, you guys always give her weird stares, you should've supported her instead of screaming at her" mom said angrily.

Cara just laid in my shoulder and cried silently.

"Mom you have to understand that we are also affected by all of this, and by blaming someone you don't do any good" I said, I stood up and took Cara with me to a waiting area with couches, I sat down and she laid on my leg.

"Try and get some sleep okay?" I said and she closed her eyes.

"Happy birthday Lea" she said quietly.

"Thank you" said and gave her a kiss in the forehead.

This is not how I imagined spending my 20th birthday.
