I own nothing.  Disney owns The Lion Guard and Rick Riordan owns the Heroes of Olympus.

Fuli's POV

I woke up with my head on Kion's shoulder.  The others were up, including Kion.

"We are roughly five hours away from Seattle, give or take an hour."  Kion mentioned.  The others went to get changed and only me and Kion remained.

"Kion, I'm sorry that I fell asleep on our date last night."  I apologized.

"Hey, you were tired.  Either way, we got back.  Besides, you're cute when you are asleep."  Kion replied.

"Really?"  I asked.

"Really."  Kion replied.

"Kion, you are the first person to care about me.  You gave me a place to go in harsh weather.  You have virtually saved me."

"I care deeply for you."  Kion replied.  "I love you."

"I love you too." I replied.

"Do you want to change into something comfortable?"  Kion asked.

"In a little bit."  I replied.

"Something is on your mind."  Kion asked, gently grabbing my hand.

"Yes.  It is this quest.  We are down a day, and who knows what we are going to face."  I panicked.  "What if we don't win?  What if Hazel's dead? "What if-"  Just then, Kion kissed me.  Fireworks were going off inside of my body.  When Kion stopped, I was breathless, with my back against the window.  "Oh my goodness."  I breathlessly whispered.

Kion looked flustered.  "I'm sorry."  He looked shocked.  "I don't know what was going through my mind.  I just...I don't...I-"  This time, it was my turn to surprise Kion.  I knelt in my seat to make myself Kion's height.  I ran my fingers through his ginger hair and I kissed him.  His hands were around my waist and he pulled me closer.  I sat on the heels of my shoes.  Then we let go of each other.  The mortals were cute.  They were looking at us as if thinking Will these two kiss the rest of the journey?

"Do you want to begin dating?"  Kion asked me.

"Yes."  I whispered as he took my hand.

"Well, that was a performance."  I heard a voice say.

"How much did you see?"  I asked Bunga, nervous.

"The part where you were against the window."  Bunga started.

"Ummm...I'm going to get changed."  I got up and grabbed my bag to change.

I dove behind a curtain and saw what Mom packed for today's outfit: emerald green shirt, black jeans, and black combat boots.   I took out my hairbrush.  Apparently, Mom did not think I was capable of taking care of myself because my hair was automatically done.  My hair was pulled back in a braid that had flowers on the hair tie.  "I guess this will have to do."  I muttered, walking back to the group, but yet I was stopped by a jock, and that's when things went wrong.
