Fuli's POV

"Hey, Fuli!"  The guy said pinning me against the wall.

"Makucha."  I growled.

"Yes it's me."

"What do you want?"  I growled.

"Easy.  Abandon your mission."

"Why would I do that?"  I wolf-stared Makucha down.

"You are beautiful, you know that?"  Makucha started.  "Come be with me."

I judo flipped him onto his back, pinning him down.  "I'm already dating someone."

"Fine."  With that, Makucha transformed into a monster.

"EMPOUSA!"  I shouted.  Ono has filled us in on the various monsters during our time at the Wolf House.  I immediately drew my sword.

"YOU ARE POWERLESS!"  The empousa shouted.

"I think you got a word wrong."  I replied.  "Change powerless to powerful, then I'll consider sparing you."  Despite the wounds on my legs, I kept fighting.  "Never mind, I'll just kill you."  With that, I got in the final swing, killing the empousa.  Kion and the others rushed over.

"Are you okay?"  Kion asked, worried.

"I'm fine.  Injured, but fine."  I replied.

"Get another shower. Ono, can you sew?"  Kion asked Ono.

"Yes.  I'll get started and leave them outside your shower area."  Ono reported.

I changed into my pajamas and gave Ono my torn clothing.  With that, I began to straighten up.

While I was getting redoing my hair following my shower (she's in the same clothing that Ono repaired), I saw someone show up.

"Mom?"  I groaned.

"Hi!"  Venus greeted.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"To just say that I am proud of you."  Venus replied.

"Where were you the past 16 years?"  I asked.

"I couldn't raise you on Mt. Olympus."  Mom replied.

"What happened to Dad?"  I asked.

"Your father didn't want you.  He didn't view you as a blessing.  When you were two, he abandoned you at the local park."  Mom replied.

"What?"  I whispered.

"I figured you needed to know the truth.  Fuli, you are not alone.  You have incredible friends, and a cute boyfriend."

"Thanks Mom."  I replied walking over to my friends.

I sat silent for an hour or so as the rest of the Guard was talking.  Eventually, I fell asleep.

My sleep was not dreamless.  I dreamt that I saw a scrawny, anemic kid in various robes talking with Alcyoneus.

"Is the hostage securely chained?"  The anemic kid, probably Octavian asked.

"She is chained.  She can't escape."  Alcyoneus replied.  "But-"

"But what?"

"The five are succeeding.  They should be here a few days time."  Alcyoneus stated.

"Well, they can't beat us."  Octavian stated.  "They can't possibly be well trained.  The daughter of Venus is possibly the worst."

In that moment, I was ready to slap him.

"She is the daughter of a worthless goddess.  She's probably like the Aphrodite Cabin.  She can't do much of anything.  Besides that, she's never had a real family.  We have nothing to worry about."

"Fuli, Fuli."  I heard a voice call.  I woke up to see Kion shaking me awake.  "We've reached Seattle."  I didn't know what to do, so I just hugged Kion and cried.
