Hazel's POV
That was truly amazing. The five new demigods actually protected me when I wasn't able to defend myself. I need to do something to express my gratitude for them.
"Romans," Reyna stated in a clear voice as everyone assembled into their cohorts. "We have seen the bravery of these five demigods, and since everyone is ready for evening munster, we have five new demigods. They have been approved by the legion, but they do not have letters of recommendation. Will any legionnaires stand for these five demigods?"
"I will." I answered.
"Are you sure, Centurion?"
"Yes." I responded firmly.
"Does your cohort agree to accept all five of the recruits?"
I turned back and saw that the cohort was planting their shields in the ground. Finally, the last shield slammed into the ground.
"Our cohort agrees to take in the new recruits." Dakota stated.
"Congratulations. All of you will be able to become members of the legion in one's years time or after you complete an act of valor. Until then, you all remain on Probatio." Reyna announced.
"Tonight is the celebration to mark the one year anniversary of Gaea's defeat. Camp Half-Blood is at the Dining Hall and we will celebrate as friends." Frank announced.
I know that there will be a bonfire and music to dance to. This is going to be fun.
"You all are dismissed." Reyna answered as the five new demigods made their way towards me.
"Thank you for keeping us all together." The girl stated.
"No problem. I'm Hazel, daughter of Pluto. What's your names?"
"Kion, child of Mars."
"Fuli, daughter of Venus."
"Ono."
"Bunga."
"Beshte."
"Come on. Let's go to the dining hall." With that, I ran into Frank.
"That was a really brave thing that you did."
"I know."
"You realize that you may have a greater chance of execution if any of them mess up badly?"
"I realize that."
"I'm only worried about Bunga."
"Don't worry." I replied, taking his hand. "I can do it."
"Okay." With that, Frank and I led Kion, Fuli, Beshte, Ono, and Bunga to the dining hall.
