Chapter 5

Disney owns The Lion Guard.  Rick Riordan owns the Heroes of Olympus.

Fuli's POV

I despise the Blessing of Venus. I am despising the fact that majority of the campers from the Aphrodite Cabin at Camp Half-Blood have decided to put me in a dress. Scratch that. I don't mind the dress, which is emerald green and paired up with white shoes, which I took off. As I walked to the bonfire, I got lost in thought and bumped into the guy I am in love with.

"I'm sorry." I chuckled nervously. "I got lost in thought."

"It's fine, Fuli." Kion replied, looking just as nervous as I felt.  He was dressed in an orange dress shirt,  black dress pants, black socks, and black shoes (thanks Mom).

"So, are you excited for the dance?" I asked, sitting down on a bench in front of the bonfire. Kion sat down shortly after me.

"Yes, but I am a little nervous." Kion replied.

"What are you nervous about?" I asked, partially curious and partially afraid of the answer.

"Well, I am in love with this girl whom after having a conversation with her, I know that she likes me back." With that, Kion did something I was not expecting: he hugged me.

"Kion, you...you like me?" I asked breathless. Kion nodded as the music started to play. "Would you do me the honor of sharing a dance with me?"

I nodded.  With that, we both started dancing.  (From this point I just wrote today)  Things were going extremely well, which for a demigod is not normal, from what I've been told.  Eventually, screams were heard across the camp.

"What is that?"  I asked nervously.

"Alcyoneus."  Frank growled.

"Is he bad?"  Ono asked.

"The bane of Pluto.  He captured Thanatos and chained him up in Alaska."  Percy explained.

At that note, Kion pulled me closer in a hug.

"I'm back!  And I have a message.  Octavian is desiring to rule the world, which he will.  He does not want you to stop him.  To ensure that, he has given me orders to take a hostage as leverage."  He looked around and chose the most innocent person to take.

"PUT ME DOWN!!!"  Hazel yelled.

"Not in a million years."  Alcyoneus replied evilly.

"Let her go!"  Frank ordered.

"You can't win.  But, because of the merciful person that I am..."  Alcyoneus took note of me and Kion, who was pulling me tighter, Ono, Beshte, and Bunga, who were beside us.

"You five are tasked with going to Vancouver, British Columbia, and trying to free Hazel.  You will also have to defeat me and Octavian once and for all, which I know you will fail."  Alcyoneus laughed.  "You have one week before Hazel pays a visit to the Fields of Asphodel again.  Good luck!"  With that, Alcyoneus was gone alongside Hazel.
