"What does that mean?" He asked the other spirit guide.

"It means, my young apprentice that we are screwed." Jameson told him.

"Exactly how are we screwed?"

"All of the evil souls from the underworld are being reborn into human babies." Jameson told him, took a deep breath and continued.

"They will have a much stronger pull to wicked, sinful acts. We guides will have to keep a constant watch over them."

"Mortals can change, sir." Jefferson reminded him.

"Mortals yes but a demon that's been evil for say a thousand years isn't likely to become a boyscout." Jameson told him.

"I'm not saying you're wrong, but maybe it won't turn out as bad as you think." Jefferson told him in a soothing tone.

"I hope you're right young one but I have a strong feeling this is going to backfire." Jameson told him with a stare like death.

"When these evil souls are reborn what do we look for? Objects to levitate and explode?" Jefferson asked only half way kidding.

"We're not assuming they will be two year old serial killers, but we want to watch for dark abilities to surface." Jameson slowly explained.

"Who's in charge of this operation?" Jefferson asked.

"An angel named Divinity, she sees the good within every soul ever made."

"When will the dark soul we're watching be born?" Jefferson asked.

"We have some time he's not due for another six weeks mortal time." He explained.

"At least it's not right this moment. It gives us time to prepare." Jefferson stated.

"That's a very good way to look at it." Jameson complimented him.

"What do we do if the mortal world literally goes to hell?" Jefferson asked with a look of fear.

"It's best we worry about that when it happens."

"Fair enough sir."

The two of them sat in the tree in silence letting everything fully sink in as they watched over the girl who had been fast asleep.
