Joline couldn't believe it. Not only was there proof of the otherside but she had a spirit guide whom was standing in front of her.  It shocked her but only a little.

"Thank you," she managed after a few minutes.

He nodded and just looked at her for a moment.

"You're welcome," He paused. "I'll always be around unless I get into trouble; but to keep your soul safe I'll do whatever it takes." Jefferson told her.

"Why don't they want people to know?" She asked the obvious question.

"I think it's so people don't give up when things get rough and take the easy way out. You have no idea the spiritual problems that would come from that." He gave her his closest guess.

"I could see how that would cause issues. How much trouble are you going to be in?" She asked.

"I don't know but don't worry about me, i'll be fine."

After a long silence she added, "I'm glad you showed yourself."

"Me too, most humans can't see us, a handful can." He admitted to her.

"Wow, that's amazing."

"Don't give up the magic but stay away from that witch invading your dreams."

"Okay." She replied in a defeated tone.

Then Jefferson glanced through the window to see Jameson and was he pissed.

"It looks like I have to go, my boss is here, good bye Joline." He told her than faded out of the room to go and explain himself.
