“Cuz Miley’s my cousin and so is Michael!” I reminded May, “The secrets global.” May and I have been best friends since we were in preschool. I’m the ordinary girl curly dark chocolate hair, I have dark brown eyes that, according to May, when I am mad they turn almost black as Coal.

 May on the other hand is extraordinary she has light brown hair, two inches above her tiny waist, she always wears it up. Bright green eyes that twinkle when she has a great idea. Through May I met Nate a guy that I fell in love with instantly. He is the handsomest boy I have ever met, smart too. He has short curly light brown hair, deep ocean blue eyes and like me he wears blue jeans. He, May, and I make the sneakiest smartest team of trouble you’ll ever meet. There was a problem to our friendship our families are at war. Ya see our families are vampires and up until two years ago the three of us where human. Nate turned before his sister or I. He called when the three of us were supposed to be going to our last day of our first year at public schools, he just told me he wasn’t coming, He woke up with a need for a thick red liquid and his brothers didn’t want him endangering the school. Six weeks into our next year of school May and I got into fights with girls at the school thus ending our public school life. The next day May followed her brother into vampirism. Thus leaving me human even when I began getting vampire powers, but that was history, for now just a memory.

“Lizzy, Hello I was talking to you.” she said as she waved her hand in my face.

“Sorry May what did you say” I apologized. 

“I said I’m their little sister and I know the secrets.” Said May with a grin forming on her lips.

“What do you mean?” I questioned her.

“We told her out of all your family you are and always will be our favorite.” It was Nate and Shane. Shane is one of May’s other older brothers, his golden eyes where shining for the first time in months. His girl like bangs flipped to the side with the rest of his hair is layered an inch from his big head. They where shining in my site, in the sun they shine gold like always. All the teens in my family are forbidden from seeing Mays family but that doesn’t stop us. That might because they were fighting like morons for no good reason just to fight.

 I heard May ask, “You didn’t go hunting, did you?”

They dropped their heads, “no” they sighed together.  

“Last time you…….” I started.

“Look Anna said you two are in danger so we came with William and Chris to…to…protect you two.”

“So you two, wait my brothers are coming?! Great. You are five more dangers then we needed and you don’t know danger until you really get on my bad side!”

“Lizzy I think you have it backwards we can inflict more pain onto you then you can to us.” Said Nate.

“So, remember I see what Anna sees you are our dangers’ in New Moon remember Bella and the Cullen’s, when he thought she was dead so he went to expose the vampires and they meet the votary, remember what they said about changing Bella. It’s different with family, if...if...well let me put it this way on our 16th birthday we die one way or the other.” I explained.

“What ways?” Nate questions.

“Either they are changed completely or the rival family teens really kill them. Since mom and dad know we love Lizzy then we have to kill her.” It was Kevin he didn’t look happy.

“You love me?...you?...wow!” I giggled.

“Like my little sis, like May, Shane, or even Nate like family.” He smiled.

“Thank you.”

“What’s Lizzy and I going to do we can’t fake it she has singing blood remember it calls to vampires….” May started before I interrupted her.

“Not all vampires just Nate and Shane,” as I said this May was startled by a knock Shane went to get it.  

“Hey my vamps and girls!”  Christopher and my little brother William walked in the front door.
