Forbidden love...(on hold)

Part Seven...

On our way home the boys were silent I looked in my rear view mirror and saw why Peter was sleeping with his head in Danny’s lap and Danny was looking at him with gentle eyes that can only be described as a  thief holding the most prized jewel in the world. If I wasn’t with Nate I’d have been jealous. When we got back to the house Danny woke Peter and we went inside. Nate was sitting in the living room watching the news on low. Cassandra was at the dining room table head in her hands. She didn’t even look up when she said “Danny I’m holding you personally responsible.”

 “Fair.” he replied “I mean I do get your brother after all.” he smiled.

“Fuck you, Danny.” she tried to sound almost nonchalant but failed there was a small hint of a laughter in her voice.

“I think that might be my job sis.” said Peter from over Danny’s shoulder Danny who was a good foot shorter than I was maybe 1 and a half feet shorter than peter.  

“Oh funny.” she said nonchalantly then I saw her look up the stairs, look at her brother, then at me I caught her panicked gaze and we both bolted up the stairs to find Shane flying out a door then came Kevin and the door to the room shut. We slowed to a walk thinking they were fighting with hell then we heard a loud BANG and Nate’s voice speaking.

“Ahh,.” Nate shouted

“Who is in there with Nate.” I asked the boys who were still sitting on the ground.

“No one it’s just him, he is having a panic attack.” Kevin answered.

“Crap what do we do?” Cassandra asked.

Lizzy you have to sing that lullaby that our mom sang. You and nick are the only ones that remember it, please?

I glared at him I didn’t know how it would help but I would do it. Singing quietly I walked to the door and opened it Nate was on the edge of the bed when he looked up I gasped his eyes were blood red it scared me until I got a jolt I stopped singing ran to him and kissed him on his lips. I saw the red fade from his eyes.

“Are you ok, Nate?” I asked cradling his face in my right hand.

“I…what happened to me?” he asked me frightened which frightened me Nate never showed fear he was so strong.

“I’ll explain later come on.” I walked him out of the room he was in and led him onto our floor. When I got into his room I sat him on our bed I wiped sweat from his forehead and kissed him. I tried to think of something that wouldn’t show how freaked I was but all that came up was tomorrow. 

“Now where is your suit?” I asked getting off my knees

“In the closet, why?” he asked me cocking his head to the side.

“We have to make sure that you can be ready for the premiere.” I replied. Nate stayed on the bed I found his tux but wasn’t really that interested in doing anything with it I had better things on my mind. I walked over to Nate sat on his lap and wrapped my legs around his waist and kissed his lips he put his hands on my hips under my shirt and kissed me back. He started to unbutton it when my name was called.

“Lizzy where are you lizzzzzzzzyyyyy?” came a shout from the first floor.

“Can we ever get a moment alone, shit” stated Nate exasperated.

“Oh well I’ll be back so don’t move.” I said then I looked up at the clock it was 2:48 am then I ran down to the bottom floor and skidded to a stop right in front of Nancy who was being wrapped in Nick’s arms.

“Nancy, ‘bout time you came back to us I missed you like crazy.” I told her walking up to her and wrapping my arms around her neck. “have you always be this much shorter than me?”

 “Well it’s great to see you too, Lizzy.” she smiled at me as I let go of her neck. I walked into the kitchen and brought out something to eat usually we eat human food quite raw but we can eat the normal food so I got out some chips and cake , chocolate Nancy’s favorite, and we sat in the middle of the floor and talked. Eventually Nate realizes I wasn’t going back up to the room and came to join the festivities. Nancy was with Nick when they got Danny, but Danny told us things Nancy wasn’t there to see. We were talking and laughing through the night that when we looked at the clock it was way past morning.

We got up and got to work on preparing for the premier the boys got on their tux’s and the girls did our hair (ok so Nancy did our hair). Nancy and Nick had come prepared for the party and they looked awesome it took 5 hours to get ready but it all paid off in the end when we were leaving the house. Nancy, Nate, Nick, Danny, and Peter all ridded in my with me because Shane just couldn’t be nice to the boys. Top down was not an option so we kept it shut. 

When we arrived at the theater the nerves set in as I got a valet to take my car. Nate stepped out and leaned in to get me out but he saw the fear in my eyes he giggled kissed me on the lips and that sent a jolt through me erasing the fear from my mind. I took his hand and stepped out of the car. Then a million bulbs flashed but I didn’t care I just focused on the pressure of his hand on mine. I looked back to see Danny get out and help Nancy get out too she kissed him on the cheek and they waited for Nick and Peter to get their buts out. Then, we all walked inside where Shane was waiting for us with Cassandra by his side. A few reporters walked over to us and acted shy staring at Cassandra, then me, then Nancy, and finally landing on one of the boys, Nate.

“Who are the lovely ladies?” one asked piercing us with his sea weed green eyes. He was fatter than the other one his face carried a glimpse of gray in the beard.

“This is Elizabeth Isabella Emerson my lovely fiancé and this beauty next to my brother is Cassandra Melissa Bell his fiancé.” Nate stated proudly. 

“And what about the rest of your group?” he asked again.

“I can answer that.” I said smirking, “this is my sister in law Nancy June-Emerson, my brother Nick Emerson, Cassandra’s brother Peter Bell and my best friend Danny Carters.”

“Would you excuse us please?” Shane said to the reporters after they had asked us a few more questions. When they left a sweet looking girl walked up to us with drinks.
