Chapter Fourteen: I'm Gonna Stay Here, Stretch My Legs

We somehow managed to get Ralph back to the Med bay, and it was madness. Bary and Caitlin stood on one side of him and I sat in a chair on his other side with Harry. He was freaking out and then we heard Iris screaming as she ran down the hall, where his right leg resided.

"Guys what the heck?!" She asked, tossing a shoe down on the ground.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah well, Welcome."

"What the heck is happening to me?!" I stood up, sitting on the edge of the bed he resided on.

"Ralph, I just need you to breathe, ok? You have to calm down se we can figure this out." I told him calmly.

"She's right, Breathe, ok." Barry prompted.

"I am breathing." He choked.

"This is interesting, the dark matter has polymerized Dibny's cells." Harry told us. He pulled it up on the computer.

"What the heck is dark matter and why is it in my CELLS!?" Ralph asked.

"You're saying the walls of every cell in his body have elasticized?" Caitlin questioned.

"I'm saying they formed an unbreakable bond at the atomic level. Now you can stretch these cells, and stretch these cells."

"Like Silly putty?"

"I'm Silly putty?"

"Maybe stop saying the word Silly putty." I suggested.

"No." Caitlin told him.

"Kinda."

"I'm silly putty?!" Ralph repeated, more angry then terrified.

"Ralph, who were the guys on the roof?" Joe asked.

"Is that really the issue right now? LOOK AT ME!" He grabbed Barry's jacket, pulling him closer. "Allen, you and your STAR Labs nerds-"

"Get your hands off me-"

"Better put me back together-"

"-We're trying to help you!"

"you're not trying to help me!"

"Shut up." Everyone started screaming and they push Barry away from him.

"EVERYBODY SHUT UP!" I shouted, silencing the room. I turned to Caitlin.

"We can do this later. I just need a sample of blood-" She pulled on his arm and it stretched out, flopping onto the floor. She dropped it, accidentally stepping on it and them put her hand down on a bottle of baby powder, spraying it into Ralph's face. they pulled Caitlin away form him, leaving only me beside him and he sneezed, his face coming down into his hand.

"Ooh, is that my face?!" Joe turned behind Barry and threw up all over the floor.

"Four years seeing this stuff, I finally puked."

"I finally calmed him down. Amazing what fifty milligrams of Lorazepam can do when you get it in aerosol form." Caitlin told us. I wanted to stay with Ralph, but Caitlin said he needed a minute to cool off on his own and collect his thoughts.

"Is there anything you can do to put him back together?" Iris asked.

"Please, my stomach can't take much more."

"I think I could stabalize hsi cells if I had a sample of his DNA from prior to when he was exposed to the dark matter on the bus."

"Why?"Barry asked, "So he can go out and start hurting people,like our other friends here? I think we should lock him up in the Pipeline."
