"They agreed," Austraila told everyone in the room with him.
Philippines nodded, "Mari, Diego, and South (minus Brazil) agreed too."
"We told Braz that we wanted him to come hang out with us too," Said Brazil's sister, Angola.
"Does your Dad even know about this?" India asked.
"Nah," Cape Verde answered, "It's not like we're doing anything bad so he doesn't need to know."
"Yep," Equatorial Guinea, agreed with his brother.
"Guys, we haven't even decided what exactly we should do," Seychelles said.
They all looked at Grenada, "The meeting is gonna be here in your country Spice Girl," Trinidad teased, "What do you think we should do?"
"Obviously go to the beach!!" She told her sister, "We are in the Caribbean."
"Hey, I'm a Caribbean nation," Trinidad said back, "Don't you think I know that?"
"Do you?" Grenada smirked back, these too loved messing with each other.
Tobago rolled his eyes, "Guys, focus." He looked back at Grenada, "We're going one of your beach houses in Saint George's right?"
Grenada was now eating a mango, "Yeah man."
Philippines perked up, "Share." She walked over to the Caribbean nation.
"Anyway," Haiti said, "We have to make sure our asshole colonizers," She looked at Portugal's kids, "Not your dad, stay away from them."
Their fathers had been downgraded from well, fathers to colonizers.
Right now, former colonies of England, France, Spain, and Portugal were all together in one of Grenada's houses.
They were planning something.
"Tenneh," Uganda said to Sierra Leone, "You okay?"
She had been looking a bit sadder since the whole incident a few days ago. It was really painful cutting personal ties with her pare- colonizers.
She sighed and nodded, not looking up, "Yeah, I'm fine."
"No girl," Jamaica walked over, "You need some soca or some reggae. Bob Marely did say not to worry about a thing." She pulled her sister up.
"Since every little thing's gonna be alright!!" Grenada finished from across the room.
She laughed at her sisters. They were so unbelievable at times.
"It's pretty hard for us all," Monaco said to her younger sister, "But we have each other."
"And us!!" Costa Rica said from the kitchen, "We all have terrible colonizers who pretended to be fathers to our older siblings. We all have each other."
After the incident at England's house, the former English colonies had left. They all had disowned England and France. But all had felt bad for what their siblings had to go through, all the lies, the neglect, the fakeness. Everything.
So they wanted to spend time with their siblings, since they knew North America had to be going through a lot at the moment. But than Dominica got an idea and called up her sister, Dominican Republic.
The Spanish colonies did want to spend some time with their North and South American siblings. Especially after what happened.
So why not team up?
They all felt bad for not knowing about the abuse. Like so freaking bad. So if they came together, North and South America (minus Brazil), would all be able to be with their siblings. Plus both sides were close with their sibling's siblings or cousins. For example, the former Spanish colonies were cool with America and Canada and the former English and French colonies were close with South America and Mexico. So they could spend time with all of the Americas after what just happened.
And Mozambique, who was part of the Commonwealth even though she was a former Portuguese colony, knew how her father had adopted North and South and how her siblings were supportive of it. Heck, she was supportive of it too. They didn't mind, the fathers that North and South had were terrible. Plus the Americas were now technically their siblings. She had called up her siblings and asked them of they wanted to be in on the gathering.
Of course, they said yes. They only knew that North America was kidnapped and they and South were neglected but that's all they need to know.
So again, why not team up?
It was gonna be a huge family gathering of siblings. Different families from different parts were gonna come together for their siblings.
"I feel forgotten," Goa said, getting nods from the other Portuguese colonies that were there, "We have your backs too."
Aruba laughed, "Yeah guys we know."
"We don't need those assholes!!!" Someone in the huge of nations cheered, getting laughs and more cheers.
"We know that was you, Rwanda," India said, he only got a laugh in return. But many of them nodded at what she said.
Sierra Leone smiled, "Yeah, we do have each other. Things.... are just gonna be different now and.... how did we all not know?"
It quieted down.
"They didn't want us to know," Monaco answer sadly, "Every time I would visit, they would be around and make it seem like everything was alright. Every single time." She sighed. "France always asked me for a week's notice before I came over. I didn't even know."
"You don't have to feel bad," Panama sighed from the kitchen, "None of us knew." This whole thing with Spain was hurting her too.
"Hey, let's lighten up guys!!!" St. Kitts said, "We're here because we care about our siblings. And their siblings or cousins.... who are like our siblings... Or we're here because- Anyway you get it!! But look, we didn't know about anything that was going on and yes, we all feel bad. But we can't completely focus on the past right now. Our siblings from our fams are hurt and none of us our gonna stand for it. They deserve better. We want to help them heal from this. And studying on the past won't help us do that. Instead of focusing on what we didn't do or didn't know, we need to focus on what we do know and can do."
There were claps. "Damn, that was inspirational," Bangladesh said.
"The meeting is in two days guys!! We have stuff to plan out!!" Angola called out.
It got quiet again.
"Like what?" Barbados asked.
"Okay, nothing but we have a lot of food to cook."
"She's right about that," Singapore said.
"Grenada, Trinidad!!" El Salvador called out, "Get the soca playing, we have things to decide on!!"
"On it!!" They both rushed off.
"Goa," Cameroon said, "Can you make some Chicken Cafreal?"
"Sure."
"Philippines, Saint Lucia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Panama!!" Tobago called out, "Help me pick out some mangos!!!"
In a blink of an eye, Philippines was there. "Let's go," She headed out. Even though Singapore wasn't called, she followed her sister.
"We need coconuts!!!" Senegal grabbed South Africa and managed to grab Guatemala, and Guinea-Bissau, "We're leaving." She rushed out the house.
Three families were coming together for their siblings and you know what? This whole thing was bringing them closer together too.
Never underestimate the power of family.
Even in the worst times, it can shine out.
