Chapter 6: Sleep Tight

I feel light shining on my face, threatening me to open my eyes. I slowly open my eyes and look at the ceiling, only it seems a bit strange. Oh- that's right I am in a cave. My eyes begin to focus as I see two heads peering down at me with evil grins on their faces. "Uh, why are you guys staring at me like that?" I say. Yeona simply gets her phone out and takes a picture of me with the flash on. "That's a keeper." Yeona says to Jimin. They continue to stare at me as if they are expecting me to do something. Only...I feel really warm, like warm as in, the sunlight isn't the only sunshine on me. I turn my head over hoping my racing heart isn't an indication...

I am greeted by the same beautiful sleeping face that I saw on the airplane. Only, he's really close, like so close I can feel him breathing against my neck, and it makes me paralyzed all over. The more I become aware of my position, the more I realize how tangled together we are. He is on top of me and I'm just kind of trapped, not that I really mind that much though...

Wait, THAT'S WHY THEY TOOK A PICTURE OMG NO! Wait, how did this even happen? How did I even get over here? My camo tarp is all lonely waiting for me over there.. that means I am the one who moved? But how? I just went to the bathroom outside and-- I MUST HAVE GOTTEN IN THE WRONG TARP >0<

I direct my eyes back up to the spot where Yeona and Jimin were, but they disappeared! What am I supposed to do? I can't bring myself to push him off or wake him up because both of those would make me feel guilty. I feel Hoseok move a little above me so I close my eyes and pretend I'm asleep. He rubs his eyes with his hand while his other one is digging into my shoulder. He pauses for a few seconds before I hear a sharp inhale.

I wait for him to take in the situation and to let me up. I'm still waiting but nothing's happening. I almost blow my cover to blink when I feel a hand stroke across my face, pushing my hair back. My heart almost explodes when I hear him say, "awh Y/N you are so beautiful I don't know what to do to keep myself sane." I feel him lower back down and wrap his arms around me squeezing me slowly into a tight hug. It takes everything in my body to just lie limp and not hug him back.

After that he sighs and slowly stands up to not bother my 'sleeping'. I wait for his steps to silence before I open my eyes and take the biggest breath in the world. Wow, I can't believe I was holding my breath so long.. I forgot I'm supposed to breathe when I'm fake sleeping.

I take a few seconds to calm down and then I rise up into a sitting position. I am met with Jimin at eye level as he's giving me the I'm gonna tell on you look. I shoot him back a death glare to say don't you dare. He then says, "if you don't want me to tell on you, then we're going to have to make a deal." I raise an eyebrow at him and say, "what is it with you and your deals?" He squints his eyes and says, "fine, I'll just go and tell him everything I witnessed." He stands up and starts to walk to the outside but not before I tackle him...well jump on his back since I'm not strong enough to knock him down.

He grabs my legs and swings me to the front like it's the easiest thing in the world to do. He then squats and flings me over his shoulder, like what the heck I did not consent to this. I start trying to beat on his back and swing my legs, but then I almost face plant as he drops me lower. "Keep doing that and you'll be eating the ground for breakfast." I stick out my tongue behind his back and make an ugly face, but he pats me on the butt as if he disapproves of my face.

Eventually I see grass underneath us and realize we are back outside. Jimin finally lifts me back over but instead of putting me on the ground he hands me over to Hoseok bridal style. "Make sure you keep an eye on her if you don't want her causing trouble." Hoseok looks at me surprised before his face relaxes and he says, "are you ready to get back home?" I shake my head at him indicating that I have no such intentions. He pinches my nose and says, "yah, you need to eat food and keep yourself healthy."

I say, "thanks eomma (mom)" and we both laugh. He puts me down and it takes me a second to remember I'm not a little kid who can't run around. So, that's exactly what I did. I ran past Jimin (not without punching him first) and stopped when I was finally back in the cave. I started packing up all our belongings when Yeona finally appeared again. "Where have you been unni?" She gives me a wink and says, "oh nothing special, just saving blackmail to a backup storage and uh making plans."

I smack her on the arm and say, "what the heck". Do you guys know what happened? She places her hand under her chin and says, "well I woke up because I noticed the fire was out, but then I also noticed you were gone until I saw you walk back in with your eyes barely open. You then proceeded to lie next to Hoseok as I was fangirling over here by myself." I raise both my eyebrows and say, "you didn't feel like stopping me or you know waking me up and telling me to move?"

"Nah, I figured you would have much preferred where you were. I will admit though that I almost died when Hoseok and you were all wrapped up in each other like a real couple. You guys looked like you hadn't slept that well in years." I roll my eyes at her at the exact moment the boys return, so we get up to depart for our journey back home.

The trail seems ridiculously easy in the daytime and it makes me feel stupid for not being able to follow it in the dark. We make it back to the subway and that's when I realize Hoseok and Jimin have to part ways from us (Jimin's going to Hoseok's house). I hug Hoseok farewell and slap Jimin's arm for being mean earlier. "Tell me how you really feel Y/N" Jimin says. I chuckle at his remark and I follow Yeona to the other side. Before I'm out of sight, I peek back at Hoseok and see him giving me a thumbs up, so of course I do the same.

We eventually make it back to Yeona's house and eat lunch together with her parents. I then head off to the guest room and pull out my computer to skype with my grandparents and sister. I tell them everything that's happened so far, except for the little scenario last night. I told them about how nice Yeona's family is and how happy I was to make a friend on the airplane, who also happens to live in Gwangju. My sister asked me if I could show them pictures, so I showed them the ones we all took at the top of the mountain.

My sister gasps at the image of Jimin and says, "WHO IS THAT?" I say, "that's Yeona's brother Jimin, he can be mean sometimes but he also seems sweet at the same time, especially when he's around Hoseok." My sister told me she calls dibs on him but they have never met before and she lives on the other side of the earth. But I'm not going to break it to her, since she seems to have her mind set on the prize.

I end up talking with them for about an hour before I wish them goodnight (it was getting pretty late for them). Then I decide to take a nap since I'm still tired from the little 'adventure' we had yesterday. I play some Korean ballads to help me sleep and drift off to dream about the fact that Hoseok was actually HOLDING ME... ^3^ (Kissy face)
