Hello! It's been a while since I have updated. I hope that you enjoy it!

Jimin's POV

I sigh as I walk back to my car. The accident took longer to deal with than expected. Thankfully no one was injured, although one of the drivers was really close to beating the other driver black and blue. Luckily, we were able to handle the situation. I open the door to my car and move to sit down. Just as I'm about to sit, Officer Lee approaches me. I look at him, confused as to what he could possibly want. Officer Lee is one of the few men in the force that is very kind to me, even though I make mistakes. Since the day I joined as a rookie officer, he offered me his kindness. "Officer Park. You should head back to the station and call it a night. It's pretty late. If I remember correctly you get off at 8:30. It's currently 9' o clock," Officer Lee says to me.

I nod my head, "I'm just going to make one more round before heading back home." This isn't something odd for me, I've been working way later than I have to in order to prove my worth. Officer Lee frowns, "Alright. Just don't stay out to late okay. Have a goodnight, Officer Park."

"You too, Officer Lee," I reply as I shut the door to my car and buckle up. I pull away and make my way onto the main road. There isn't many people on the road as I drive. I stop at a stoplight and glance at the time, 9:15. My shift ended a while ago, yet I feel like I should stay out just a bit longer. It isn't that late, I could still drive around for another thirty minutes or so.

Those thirty minutes turned into an hour. I sigh as I circle the block once again. No one was speeding and the night seems to be very peaceful. Still, I'm out here circling the street like a madman. I stop at another stoplight and my stomach grumbles. I frown, trying to remember the last time that I ate. I grabbed an apple this morning before I left to go to the station, I think. I decide to get something to eat before making my way home. I start to drive again as the light turns green. I pass by multiple fast-food places and restaurants. I keep driving right by them. I had a specific place I wanted to go to. I just so happen to know the owner of the place. I pull up in front of a simple, yet elegant restaurant. The parking lot is fairly empty, most likely due to the fact that most people don't eat dinner at 10:30. I park my car and climb out. I make sure that I have my gun, handcuffs, and walkie-talkie with me. It's better to be safe, than sorry. I lock the car door and make my way to the entrance of the restaurant. I open the door and am greeted by none other than the owner himself. "Hello. Welcome to....." Jin says before recognizing who it is, "Jimin-ah! I haven't seen you in so long! How are you doing?"

I smile, "Hello, Jin hyung. I'm well."

"What are you doing here at this time? Are you still on duty?" Jin asks, "Oh....you must be hungry. Let me make you your favorite." Jin makes his way to the kitchen gesturing for me to follow him. "Where's the rest of your staff?" I ask following him.

"Answer my questions first," Jin replies grabbing a pot.

I groan, "I hate it when you say that, hyung. I'm hungry, so I came to the best place in town. I am still on duty. I'll be done soon though."

"I'm glad that my cooking is up to your standards. It's kind of late for an officer to still be on duty, though. Almost 11," Jin says as he grabs vegetables and rinses it under the water, "Than, again. What do I know?" I nod my head and avoid making eye contact. Jin hyung always seemed to know when I was lying, apparently my face gave it away. I didn't want to be scolded by Jin for overworking myself again. Neither of us spoke and the room fell into silence. The only sound that could be heard is the chopping of vegetables. Jin looks at me, "You're pretty quiet there, Jimin. Something wrong?" I shake my head, giving him a phony smile. He looks at me a tad bit skeptical before focusing on cooking my meal. I was thinking back to a few hours ago. Yoongi hyung and his words of advice. There's a chance I am a bit too hard on myself. Sometimes I just can't help it. There's just a part of me that wants to prove to everyone that I deserve to be where I am. Suddenly, my walkie-talkie goes off. Jin looks over at me as he seasons a piece of meat. I smile back at him and pick up my walkie-talkie from my side. "Officer Park? Are you still driving around? I thought you said you would only be making one more round. Its 11 now. You told me that at 9. You should really head back and get some rest. Never know what tomorrow may bring," Officer Lee says to me. Jin gives me a look that says he is upset with me. I look at him sheepishly, "Why are you still at the station Officer Lee?
