Chapter 31

Hello! I am back with another chapter. If you haven't seen my note, I said that updates won't be as frequent because I just began school. "What's the game plan?" Namjoon asks from the driver's seat.

Taehyung smiles and makes finger guns, "We rush in guns a blazing!"

Yoongi huffs, "This isn't some joke, Taehyung. Someone could get severely hurt if we don't actually have a plan."

"Sorry..." Taehyung says, his head lowering.

Namjoon sighs, "Don't worry about it. Does anyone else have an idea?"

"It all depends on what we'll find inside," Jimin says. The others all nod their heads agreeing. "Well, the door will most likely be locked," Jin says, "Either way someone will have to kick it down."

"I'll do it," Jungkook volunteers instantly, "What are we going to do if the machine is in there?"

"I'll try to learn how it works as quickly as possible. The rest of you should cover me and make sure Theodore doesn't come. Then, we'll use it to turn things back to the way they're supposed to be," Jin says, "Problem would be solved instantly if the machine is just lying there. We should all hope that it is."

"And if it isn't?" Hoseok asks, "What if Theodore's there waiting for us?"

"We'll handle him and call the police," Jimin states, "With Theodore out of the way, we can find and use the time machine without any interruptions."

Yoongi frowns, "How do you suggest we handle him?"

"We do outnumber him, so taking him down should be easy. That is, if he does happen to be there," Namjoon says.

"What if he has a gun?" Jin says, "What then?" The others all tense, not knowing what to do if that situation does happen. They didn't want anyone to get hurt by attacking Theodore, but they couldn't just stand there like a deer caught in the headlights. "We'll try our best to disarm him before he gets a shot on us," Jimin says, "If he does have a weapon of some sort, we just need to be careful." The group all murmur their agreement, hoping that their lives wouldn't be in any danger because of a knife, gun or a weapon of any sort. "Okay, so we have a plan," Namjoon says, "Everyone knows what to do, right?" He glances at the rear view mirror, catching everyone nodding their heads in unison. "Stick to the plan," Jin says, "Everything will work out if we do."

Jungkook nods, "I can't wait to get back to my actual life. I don't know about all of you, but I could use some serious rest after all this."

"Same," Taehyung says, "This is too much action for even me."

"We still don't even know why Theodore did this," Yoongi says, "What if he just changes the timeline again?"

"Don't be such a pessimist, Yoongi hyung," Hoseok says, "We'll just alert the company about some worries we have about this guy. We know his name and what he looks like."

"Yeah, this chapter of our lives should end today," Jimin says, "No more worrying about time machines or falling roofs or any of that. We can go back to being us. Performers. Idols. BTS."

"If everything goes to plan, we'll be getting our happy ending," Namjoon says.

Taehyung grins, "Just like in the books!"

"Just like in the books..." Yoongi repeats, trailing off a little. His face set in a hardened position, still having this weird feeling about something.
