Hello, ARMY! I am finally back with an update. It has been so long since I last updated this story. I am so sorry that I made you wait. I had finals and I was trying to focus on them. Thank you for being so patient with me. I will be updating more frequently as I am now on summer vacation. I hope that you enjoy this chapter. It's finally time for all of the boys to be awake and kicking! Thank you to all my supportive readers.
Jin sits up quickly from his position sprawled out on the couch. He swivels his head back and forth. He blinks a couple of times, confused as to where he is. He seems to be in an apartment or home of some sorts. He doesn't recognize the home as any of his friends or family. His brow furrows as he tries to remember how he ended up here. Did he get drunk? Did he accidentally walk into some stranger's home? Did he hook up with someone? No way...right? Right? His head is foggy for some reason and millions of questions continue to circle his mind. He moves and stands from the couch. He looks around before walking down a lit up hallway, calling to see if anyone else is within the home. He doesn't hear anyone respond to his calls, but continues to yell out. He walks down the hallway that seems to just get longer and longer. Jin stops, his chest throbbing a little for some reason. He turns to his left and sees a door. He reaches his hand forward and grabs onto the doorknob. Something is telling him to open this door. He has no idea what could be in the room. It could be an empty room or there could be dead person in there....
There is only one way to find out. Jin opens the door and stares with wide eyes as it swings open. He takes a step closer to the doorway, but doesn't make a move to go inside the room. He looks inside with awe. It's almost like a different place altogether. It's like he's opened a portal to a different place and a different time. There is a group of seven within a dimly lit room. They all look exhausted and Jin frowns when he spots one that looks like him when he was younger. He keeps his eyes trained on the goings within the room. The group move to lean against the mirror and do weird stretches. They help each other out, loosening each other's muscles. Even though they didn't look like people that would be friends, the group seemed to have a bond with one another that no one could explain. No one except the ones that were a part of that group. And for some reason, Jin understood.
Jin sighs, not really getting what is happening to him at the moment. He reaches for the door handle again and closes the door. Leaving behind the group of seven, who seemed completely dedicated to whatever it is that they are doing. He shakes his head and makes his way back down the hallway. He doesn't walk very far when he stops before another door. This one is already cracked open. "Hello?" Jin calls out, tapping on the door with his fist. His action causes the door to open. He peeks inside the room and is shocked to see the same group as before, but this time two of them appear to be bickering. Jin winces feeling as though he is intruding on a private conversation. Yet, at the same time, he feels like he is a part of this. That he should be listening and that he should say something to ease the situation. He stares at the young men as they continue to argue about food and what to eat for dinner. Jin frowns, he had no idea why they are having such a heated argument about a topic like this. Things suddenly change as the version of himself within the room yells out loudly. The others all stare at the other him and listen as he tells them that they shouldn't argue like this. Jin watches in admiration as the two guys apologize to one another and the entire group gathers to resolve the issue. It was just an argument between two of the young men, but the entire group seemed to be discussing what went wrong. It was weird, but it made sense. Jin watched and couldn't help but feel his heart warm as he saw the group of seven make up. He quickly shuts the door, realizing that he's been standing there for too long.
Jin seems to be in deep thought as he continues to walk down the never-ending hallway. This place makes no sense to him. These rooms make even less sense. Those boys...one of them was him...or looks pretty much like him. Who were they? Why is he here? What is he missing? The more Jin tries to figure it out, the more his head seems to become foggy. He massages his temples as he approaches a set of doors. He reaches towards the one on his left, but stops before he touches the knob. The other door has something, not this one. Jin turns his attention to the door on the right. He opens it without hesitation, finding it a bit odd as to why he knew this door is special. The door opens outward, gently tapping the wall. Jin looks inside and sees the same group as before, but on a stage surrounded by a bunch of other people. He hears what he thinks are fans, cheering loudly. Suddenly, there is a loud boom and Jin jumps. He looks for the source of the noise and sees confetti explode out of launchers on the sides of the stage. "Bangtan Sonyeondan!!!" The MCs call out. The boys on stage have shocked expressions and they instantly bow while saying thank you repeatedly. Jin feels his heart swell with joy and love. He doesn't understand why this feeling has hit him, but he feels so happy for the group. The group that he doesn't know, but at the same time does. He knows those boys...he just has to find out why.
