I left you all on a cliffhanger and pretty much disappeared for about a month. I'm so sorry everyone. It took me a while to get this update out for you all. I made some minor edits to one of the previous chapters, so you can go check that out. It's not that major, I just named one of the characters that is going to be the main focus for this chapter. Thank you so much for waiting for this. I hope you all enjoy it.
Wonho frowns when he picks up the phone and receives no answer. "Hello? Sir?" He says, "Namjoon?" He wonders if the young CEO had butt dialed him. There's no way, he's not that type of person. "Namjoon? Helloooo..." Wonho calls. Suddenly, he hears a loud crashing sound from across the line. His eyes widen and he pales a little. "Namjoon?!" He yells into the phone, "Are you there? What was that loud noise? Are you alright?" He doesn't get a response and he continues to repeat Namjoon's name, hoping that he would answer. He opens his mouth to say something to Namjoon when the line goes dead. He pulls the phone from his ear and grimaces. He brings up the tracking app and frowns when it is unable to locate Namjoon's position. "What have you gotten yourself into, Namjoon," Wonho mutters as he makes his way towards his car. He opens the door and slips an earpiece on. He taps on it once, "This is Wonho. I just received a call from Mr. Kim. There was a loud crashing noise and no reply. The line went dead after that. I believe he may be in danger. I am unable to track him. Who was following him as he made his way to Theodore Cullen's house?"
"That would be my group," someone says over the line. Wonho sticks his key into the ignition and turns on the car. "Are you at the location of the house? Do you have a visual on Mr. Kim?" Wonho questions.
"Um...that would be a no," the person replies.
"What do you mean that would be a no?!" Wonho asks sternly.
The person sighs, "We lost track of them after they took an odd turn. We've been trying to track them, but our signal is not working. We can't get the GPS to function or the tracking system."
"Do none of you know how to use a freaking map!?" Wonho yells as he pulls his car out of the parking lot. "Sir, I'm sure he's fine," the person states.
Wonho huffs, "I know when Mr. Kim is fine or not. I can tell you right now that he is not fine."
"How would you know? It's not like you're with him now," the person mutters.
"I've known Mr. Kim longer than any of you have. I have held this position longer than any of you fools and for good reason too. I can sense that something is wrong and you should as well. You should all be a lot more worried about Mr. Kim. I assure you that once we find him, he will be hearing about your utter stupidity," Wonho rants before clicking his earpiece off. He shakes his head as he halts at a stoplight. He shakes his head and reaches into his side compartment. He takes out a map and checks for the address. Soon enough, he finds it and the light turns green. He hits the gas pedal and makes his way to the location. He taps on his earpiece again, "I want you all to track my location. I am on my way to the last known location of Mr. Kim." They all reply with a curt yes. Wonho shuts off his earpiece again and takes a deep breath. He hopes that Namjoon is okay. He doesn't know what he would do if anything bad had happened to the young man. He's known Namjoon for a fairly long time. The two met at a university party and have stayed close since. Namjoon was so kind and sweet to him. He would always go out of his way to make sure Wonho was happy and felt loved. Wonho tried his best to do the same for Namjoon. When Namjoon had told him about becoming a CEO, Wonho made him promise that if he ever needed anything he will give him a call. Soon enough, Namjoon's company blasted off and he became a household name. Namjoon's parents had decided that he needed protection. Namjoon wasn't okay with just anyone protecting him. He wanted someone he could trust, someone that he knew would have his back. He called Wonho and asked for him to personally be his bodyguard. Wonho accepted without a second thought. Namjoon is one of his closest friends and it means a lot to him that he trusted him with his life. Wonho protects Namjoon because Namjoon protected him. Namjoon's friendship was his crutch at times and he doesn't know where he would be without it. His friendship means the world to Wonho and he would do anything to pay him back for the loads of kindness Namjoon radiates. Wonho made it his mission to guard the younger man. He would continue to protect the young CEO. He could only hope that Namjoon would be alright when he got to Theodore Cullen's home. He would never forgive himself if Namjoon got injured because he wasn't there to watch him. Wonho glances down at the map and makes a right turn. The house should be coming up soon. He taps on his earpiece again, but is only met with static. He sighs, he can only hope that the others are able to find him and keep up. He continues to drive and makes one more turn. He looks through the window and spots Namjoon's car. He pulls up next to it and his gaze moves to next a collapsed house. He blinks, that's Theodore Cullen's house. It wasn't like that before. He walks closer to it, looking around for any sign of Namjoon or his group of friends. He frowns, "Namjoon!!! Where are you?!" He takes a step closer to the house and coughs as some dust travels to him. There's no way. The building didn't collapse a while ago, it had fallen down recently. Really recently. Based off of the plaster dust that Wonho coughed on, it could've happened less than an hour ago. He bites his lip, Namjoon couldn't be under there. Right? Wonho sighs and turns around when he hears noises from behind him. There are multiple cars pulling up and bunch of people pile out of them. "Sir, where's Mr. Kim and his friends?" One man asks.
