Chapter 32

Hello. I am back with another chapter. It's time to find out who the mystery new characters are and what will happen to the boys. I also would like to ask you all, if you are unable to see one of my chapters please tell me. I also post announcements saying I have updated and if you can't see the chapter there's something wrong. The sounds of cars pulling up and police sirens going off from outside set the boys on edge. "Ha! The cops are finally here. Don't any of you move!" The old man exclaims, slowly backing away. The old man goes to the front door to greet the police, leaving the seven alone. "Hyung! What do we do!?" Taehyung whines, "I can't go to jail!"

"We'll figure something out," Jin says, "We have to. We'll be alright. Yeah, guys? Yeah?" No one answers, not knowing for sure if things were going to be okay. They had never expected to be in this situation. This was not a variable they had considered. They didn't know what to do. What are you supposed to do if you're seconds away from getting arrested? Just then, two cops walk into the room. The group tense, not knowing how this would go down. Namjoon looks at the cops as they walk in, thinking it best not to cower. After all, they didn't do anything wrong. It is just a misunderstanding. "Jaebum...Jinyoung...," Namjoon says recognizing the officers as they stand in front of them with their arms crossed. The rest of the group's eyes widen, recognizing who the officers are. "Namjoon," Jaebum says, his eyebrows raising, "I didn't expect to see you here."

"Yeah, well, I didn't expect to be here either," Namjoon says with an annoyed look.

"This is some mix-up, isn't it?" Jinyoung asks, "There's no way you broke into someone's home. You're Kim Namjoon."

"I didn't. I know it kind of looks like it, but this is all some big misunderstanding. We didn't mean to enter this man's home. We thought it was someone else's place," Namjoon explains. The other's all nod their heads, agreeing with their leader. The cops exchange looks with each other, having a silent conversation. The boys watch, hoping and praying that the cops would take it easy on them. Maybe, even let them off the hook. The two eye the boys, who flash looks of complete innocence at the two cops. Jinyoung turns and whispers something into Jaebum's ear, to which the other officer nods his head. After a couple more seconds, they focus their attention back on the group. "I'm only saying this because I know, Kim Namjoon. I know he would never do anything wrong or involve himself with anyone that would commit a crime," Jinyoung says. The group all let out a sigh of relief, thinking that this meant they were off the hook. "I'm sure this was just some false impression," Jaebum says, "But, at this moment, it looks like you're all criminals. And, even though Namjoon is my friend, it is still my duty to arrest you all."

"Please, don't. If you just let us explain to the man..." Jin says.

Jinyoung shakes his head, "Mr. Song is very adamant on the fact he wants the seven of you arrested." The groups flash the officers exasperated looks, in disbelief over their situation. "But, Jiminie is a police officer as well," Taehyung exclaims, "You can't just arrest another officer..." Jimin nods his head, reaching into his pocket and showing them his badge. The two cops examine it and nod their heads. The group relax a little, thinking that this is their way out of this mess. "It's a legitimate badge. He's actually an officer, but..." Jinyoung starts

"He didn't have a warrant to enter this person's home," Jaebum states, "Even cops need to abide by the law."

"So, what are you saying?" Yoongi asks, "You need to take us away in handcuffs? Lock us up?"

"We will have to take you in," Jinyoung says, "I'm sure there is an explanation, which we'll find out at the station. I'm sorry, really, but you're in no position to do anything except put your hands on your head, and don't put up a fight as we arrest you." The boys faces all fall. They glance at one another with looks of confusion, worry, and dread. "What do we do?" Jungkook mutters, hoping one of the members has an idea.
