RECAP: you stood outside for a minute when you spotted the van by side of the arena.
It lit up in the interior. It was pointed away so you had the back bumper view of the van. You watched a lady figure with a skirt or dress and heels going into the van whilst you made out a male figure sitting in the van already. She sat at the back of van beside the male.
There wasn't any other van parked around here which Jacob was talking about so that had to be Jacob but who was the lady?

"Hi" you message Jake, unsure of what was happening. "WHAT THE FU-" you start to write but before you finish you backspace and stare at the three dots that came up showing that Jacob is writing.
three dots. three dots. three dots.
and gone.
You continue to stare until about thirty seconds goes by and you become frustrated. He had read your message, was typing something then never said anything.
"of course." You run your hands through your hair, not caring if you look like a mess anymore. You expected so much and you knew from your past, that always leaves you low because it never works out.
"Jacob isn't yours." you say out loud to yourself as well as repeat like a mantra in your head as you walk back inside the arena.
Some groups of teenage girls with a few guys stood around in the corners. One group was loud as they all laughed and talked about the show, all teenagers probably waiting for their rides.
You sat down against the wall and debate on what to do. As the thought to just leave came across your head your starting to ring.
It was the obnoxious jerk's voice that you didn't even know what to say to, but you could resist the Don't Talk To Strangers Hey Pretty Lady, ringtone you had found and quickly clicked answer to wave off the eyes of the teenagers who, like zombies, turned to you.
"Hey!" Jacob said quietly but with lots of energy before you could even say hello.
"hi." You say flatly.
"where are you?" Jacob's voice now a normal volume but raspy.
"inside the arena, I would ask you the same thing but I don't want to bother you." You sass.
"What? I'm okay with you bothering me. Why are still in the arena?" He asks the final question in a worried answer.
"I tried meeting you by the van where you said." You say quietly. This was obviously not the place to talk about this to Jacob Hoggard.
"I'm late. I'm sorry." He apologized but you didn't say anything but did hear his footsteps quickly hitting the tile floors around the arena. "is there anyone where you are?" He asks trying to get you to speak.
"Yes. I'll meet you outside the wall of the arena, not from my the van. Alright?" You ask with you mouth forming a smile. It's not like you were angered at Jacob just frustrated. You felt like the point of this whole thing was fading but now it seems pretty eased.
* * * * * * *
"HEY!" Jacob shouts as he jogs to you. He hugs you but you stiffen up. "So...?" He says leading towards the corner of the arena possibly for an entrance or an outside light since it's been getting extremely darker and darker as time goes on.
He wore a large hoodie, vest and sweats that look doubled in layered.
"Who's that?" You pull Jacob to a stop and gesture to the van.
"That's one of our crew mates van, he's going to let us sit in it so we don't have to endure the tour bus following of complaints.
"Oh.." you say embarrassed. Jacob pulls on your jacket sleeve and continue to pull you to the van where he taps on the back window twice. The lady and man come out of the van, the lady being way older than the crew mate but not dressed like a slut, as you imagined.
"Thanks, man." Jacob fist bumps the crew mate as he walks by.
You two climb in and Jacob turns on the van along with the heat.
You two then traveled to the first bench of the van where at your feet were empty cans and shopping bags.
"Pretty sweet set up you have here." You laugh, nudging Jacob as he pushes the cans by his feet to the door.
"I sleep here sometimes. It drives smoother than the bus on some roads and that's when I crawl through the back door with a pillow and few blankets." Jacob says.
His eyes screamed exploration and that's exactly what you wanted, you wanted to explore him. From who he is to what he is, inside and outside, his slight fire in his eyes spark something in yours and as you two stare back at each other through the fogged up ceiling light, everything you had worried about had melted away.
"So what is the plan for tonight?" You smile.
"Well, I'm oddly enough craving a slushy which is rare." He squints as a slightly smirks.
"Do you want to try to find a 7/11?" You say holding laughter in, he's such a kid.
"Well-" He tilts his head, smiling.
It was decided, since Jake wanted the slushy you let him drive the van but with cautious and quick turning out of the venue arena you don't think Jake is suppose to be leaving.
-------------------- --------- -------- ------------------------------
"Thank you, come again!" The cashier says as you and Jacob leave the 7/11.
As you go out through the doors, your phone goes off from a text. You forgot to really tell anyone you're going to this concert so as you read the message from your best friend stating she just broke up with her boyfriend and would appreciate some quality BFF time, you cringe.
Do you hang out with your broken-hearted best friend or hang out with the guy who possibly has your heart who is your 'best friend'?
