Mirror, mirror, on the wall.
Mirror, mirror, how far will he fall?
Mirror, mirror, show me thy fears
Mirror, mirror, now comes the tears.
Mirror, mirror, the words make him weep.
Mirror, mirror, he doesn't dare sleep.
Mirror, mirror, and now they all will sigh.
Mirror, mirror, and all those years they did fly.
Mirror, mirror, while he fights time and tries.
Mirror, mirror, to save the life
Mirror, mirror, of his beloved wife.
For everybody knows, that everybody dies.
Mirrored in the River is a tribute to the Doctor and River, as their time lines are backwards, but despite the Doctor knowing how River dies when he first meets her, he knows he can never go back and save her.
