Feng Jianyu's POV
We buried Yinyin a week later in the Feng family plot of the Rosemary Hill Cemetery. It took that long for the police to declare her death "self-inflicted" and released her body.
Here we were now, a week after Yinyin shot herself to death, standing in the cold and damp in the middle of the graveside ceremony. This was our second funeral this week. Grandpa had been buried the next day after the "accident".
Our family preferred to call it an accident because even though he was killed, Yinyin wasn't in her right mind at that time. She had a break down that day and she was on medication. The doctor said she was probably had been sleepwalking and was in the murky borders of her consciousness.
I looked around at the gravestones of Feng dating back to the eighteenth century. They were mostly a long-lived clan, expect for Yinyin and our dad. I missed dad so badly, but his death brought back some bad memories.
I was too absorbed into the past until I got dizzy. Qing immediately put his arm around me to steady me and made eye contact with the minister, then he nodded at the men waiting to lower Yinyin's coffin into the ground.
The mourning bell continued to chime as the coffin was lowered, muffling the sound of the electronic gears as the fog muffled the edges of the gravestones around us. The overcast sky concealed our cries for the loss of our family member. I buried my face into Qing's chest as I couldn't afford for anyone to see the contrast of my crying face and the upturn of the corner of my mouth.

"What do you mean you have to get married?" I loosened my hug and took a step back from Qing. He stepped into my apartment and closed the door behind him. He just got here for our date night and 'I have to get married' was his first sentence?!
"You want to break up with me?" My voice got higher and my hands trembling, thinking about my life without him.
"No! Of course not!" He scooped my back into his arms before he pressed his lips on my forehead. Then Qing grasped my arms firmly and looked straight into my eyes. "I can't live without you, you are my world. I'm going to do this for us, for our future. And with my plan, we'll revenge your dad."
My ears perked up hearing the word revenge. I hated my mum's new husband and Qing knew it. Qing knew all the dark stories my family had ,and in that moment I knew that he was going to do all of this for me. "What plan?"
With that question being asked, Qing explained everything from the very beginning. "I came out to my parents about us. I told them I'm in love with you and we've been together for five years, and I won't give them grandchildren that they have always wanted because I want to spend my lifetime with you." I knew this wasn't the right time to cry, but I loved him so much and it felt like my heart was going to burst. Qing gave me a soft peck before he continued,
"My mom was angry. She told me she doesn't care that I'm gay but this will tarnish our family name if the outsiders know about our relationship. She threatened to kill herself and bring our family down if I don't get a wife. She was blabbering that she's going to get a wife for me. I was ready to argue with her when I heard 'Feng Huiyin' being said and a brilliant idea popped in my mind." Qing was now smiling proudly in front of me. He held my hand and led me to sit on the couch in the living room.
"Do you still hate your mom, your new dad and your sister?" He asked me seriously.
"My hatred for them will never go away." I told him earnestly. I could honestly say I had never hated anyone as I hated the three of them.
My mum betrayed my dad by having an affair behind his back. I confronted her once and she just shut me out. I knew my dad was very busy with the company, but he always had been there for us. My sister, Yinyin, not only she didn't care about mum's affair, Yinyin supported her. She even helped them to kill my dad.
My dad died in a hit-and-run "accident". But I knew it wasn't an accident. Dad called me that evening, saying that he wanted to talk to me about something. I just parked my car across the street when I saw the incident. I was too late to save dad, but I was there and I saw everything.
Like I said before, it wasn't an accident. Even though the police didn't believe me because the lack of evidence; I saw them. I saw Yinyin drove the car and hit dad, I saw mum and her man sat in the back seat. I hated them ever since and I swore they would be punished for their crime. Not by the police, but by my own hands.
Then something worse happened a month after dad's funeral; they got married. I knew that man only with my mum for money. I knew he killed dad for the company we owned. But sadly mum was blinded by love and Yinyin had been hating dad since we were little. She once told me that dad didn't love her, she felt hated by dad and she was blaming dad for her depression.
Grandpa had never really accepted mum's new husband and he told me once, "Dayu, let me tell you this. I don't trust that scruffy man your mum got married to. I stated in my will that when my time comes, all of my money and my company will not fall into their hands. It's for your sister and you to manage."
The thoughts looped around in my mind and brought back the bad memories. I didn't realize I was clenching my fist and my jaw so hard until I felt Qing's thumb brushing my cheek gently.
"I love you. We'll do this together." He said and smiled soothingly at me, washing away all my anger.
Qing then told me how he told his mom he would marry my sister with a reason that Yinyin would understand about our relationship, she would cover us up. While in reality, she would know nothing about us. We would leave her in the dark and use her as our puppet to bring mum and my her husband down.
Then came the day for the family meeting. The plan was for Qing to pretend that he interested in Yinyin, so that she will agree to marry him. But before Qing even uttered a word, we knew she already fell for him. She accepted the marriage right away and with that, our plan started. Qing chose the wedding date, which just a day before my mum and her husband flew out of town to do some business.
The wedding was very simple and private, only our close families were invited. The peck that Qing gave Yinyin after their vow broke my heart. I understood it was only for show from Qing's side, but it was real for Yinyin and I hated the feeling. Qing was mine and only mine. But I had to suppress my jealousy and looked as if I was truly happy for her.
On the wedding night, I called Qing as his assistant, telling him that we got an emergency at the company. Qing's family had an architecture company and he often helped his parents managing the company.
What our family and our friends didn't know was: last year Qing and I had decided to build our own small company, which specialized in creating real-time 3D holographic projections. We could create almost any illusion using our Holosystem. I had never intended my family to know about this because I was sure if they knew, they would create more drama to get more money from me.
From that night Qing slept with me in grandpa's mansion for several days before I called Yinyin to come to help me take care of grandpa while our parents were absent.
The mansion was very old and after grandma's death it turned to a haunted house as nobody took care of it. I had heard a lot of ghost stories about this house as I was a writer before Qing and I built our own company.
And that was exactly how we would run our plan. We would combine our knowledge and abilities to once more spark those negative emotions that Yinyin had tried to conceal and play with her mind until we were able to push the right button and bid her goodbye from this world.
