*Chapter Eleven*
Kenzie's heart was beating against her ribcage as she stared at her phone flabbergasted. What just happened? Did AJ McLean really just call her? And were they going to hook up? She wasn't even a fan; she only knew of him because of Vicky, but she still could feel excitement rush through her.
She looked up to her best friend who was posing in a bikini behind a green screen that was supposed to be of a beach. A large fan was blowing her hair causing it to look like the wind was gusting. Her breasts were nearly popping out of the black top that was too tight, she wondered if it was cutting off circulation. Vicky had a killer body, Kenzie even envied her. She was gorgeous. She looked down at herself, she was wearing a red bikini; it wasn't nearly as tight at the top. Kenzie's bust wasn't as large as a few of the photographers would have liked. She wasn't small by any means. Vicky was a C who looked like she was a D, Kenzie was a B. For her small body they fit her perfectly. She liked her physique and many other people did too...just not certain modeling companies. She loved to be photographed, but she wouldn't go under the knife to please them. This was her body not theirs. She thought she was perfect the way she was. She was happy in her own skin. Vicky on the other hand...she wore such skimpy outfits. She loved her to death, but she was worried she tried way too hard. She wanted this so bad...if a photographer told her to get bigger breasts, she wouldn't hesitate. Vicky would do anything to make it.
She could feel as anticipation overwhelmed her and she knew if she didn't tell someone about her phone call and soon, she would explode. She looked over at Vicky once again and saw the photographer turned off the huge fan allowing her to comb her hair out with her fingers. She looked up at Kenzie and smiled before walking over.
"Great poses!"
She grinned, "Thanks! I can't wait to see the ones we did together. We looked hot, Kenz."
She laughed, "Hell yeah we did. I mean, when don't we?"
Vicky looked at her and smirked, "Right? Ralph said he'll have the pictures developed in a few days. I think this is one of my best shoots I've done in a while. And to think Kim almost fucked it up on me." She shook her head roughly as her roommate came to mind.
"How'd she do that?" She asked as they walked over to their small dressing room that they shared, "You always tell me the nastiest things about her...I don't get why you just don't get your own place. Living with her must be a nightmare."
"It's the worst!" She then let out a loud groan as she began to take off her swimsuit once they were in the enclosed area. "Trust me, I hate living with her."
"Well, what made you even want to live with her in the first place?" Wondered Kenzie as she slid her bikini off and grabbed her clothes from the red stool where they were folded. She then looked to Vicky, "I mean she's the complete opposite of you. Did you meet her on Craigslist or something?" And she hoarsely laughed as she slipped on her jean shorts.
She shook her head as the memory came to her mind and she shrugged, "I don't even know what I was thinking. She's not who I thought she was. I met her through a girl who I went to highschool with. She seemed decent and I thought it would be fun to live with her. Well after we moved here, everything just went downhill. I was making friends, I was doing things and she's just there doing nothing...same as now. She was holding herself back all on her own...I know she blames me. It's not my fault people like me. Maybe if she lost weight she wouldn't be such an embarrassment, ya know?"
Kenzie raised her thin eyebrow at her and coughed out a rough laugh, "Well, you saw her before you decided to move in together. You knew she wasn't skinny."
