Twenty-six days until my birthday.

"We look fabulous, right?" Jami asks as we check ourselves out in the mirror.

"Ye-- Well, one of us. The other is named Jami," I laugh. She places the back of her hand to her forehead and gasps.

"How rude!" she laughs.

"But really," I chuckle. "We look absolutely amazing."

It's true!

She lets her dirty blonde hair fall gracefully around her shoulders and cascade down her back. Jami has a black jacket over, only revealing the front of her cropped gray tank. A few inches of skin is exposed before the black jeans cover up what isn't to be seen. Her black heeled-sandals make her even taller than she actually is.

On the contrary, my hair is pulled up into a messy bun, a few strands framing my face. A long-sleeved sweater is cropped and showing a bit of my stomach.  Some black jeans cover the rest but are then covered by my black knee-high heeled boots.

"And for once, I'm taller than you!" I cheer. She rolls her eyes and throws a roll of toilet paper towards me.  Before I have time to react, a knock cuts off my thought process. I walk over, Jami in suit, and open the door.

"Hey boys," I smile. Thankfully, they're not wearing super fancy clothes, so I was right that we should dress casually.

"You look lovely, {Y/N}," Tom compliments.

"Ugh, I have a boyfriend," I mock a valley-girl accent.

"You do?" Haz asks. But Tom elbows him and shakes his head. "O-Oh, yeah. Peter. I kind of forgot. Sorry."

"No problemo," I shrug.

Finally, Haz shifts his gaze over to Jami. I smirk and glance at Tom before looking at the two lovebirds. His jaw literally drops. She bites her lip and fidgets with her hands.

"Do I look okay?" she asks nervously.

"No-- Yeah! Incredible! I-I mean, yes. Good, not bad. Very pretty. Beautiful, actually," he stammers.

"Ugh, emotions," I whisper. "Anyway! Jami wait out here with Tom, I need to have a word with Harrison."

"No, {Y/N}," Jami whines. "Don't do this! You always do this and they all get scared and run off!"

"Don't worry," Haz chuckles. "I can handle it." I cock an eyebrow up and look him up and down again. I grab his hand and shove him into the hotel room, shutting the door behind us.

"Okay, listen here Osterfield," I glare. "When you leave this room, you're going to give my best friend the best night of her life. You won't take her innocence away, but she better be smiling all week.  And if you break her heart, you'd be an idiot. Blunt, I know, but that's the God damn truth.

Right now, you might not think that this is such an important date. You could be thinking about seeing other girls later next week. If you break her heart, you'd never have any clue what you missed out on. But one day, you'll realize that you hurt one of the most amazing people to ever grace the earth, and you'll see that I'm right and that you're a complete idiot.

And in all honesty, I don't like you that much now. The only reason I'm even giving you a chance to be with her is because I love her. If I didn't love her as much, or even if I loved her more, I would never let any guy near her. Because she doesn't deserve that. And if you have any sense, you won't even think about hurting her.

You have the potential to hurt my best friend. And that is not OK. She has a heart of gold and a mind of positivity. And I will not enjoy when she tells me that she's crying over an asswipe that never deserved her affection in the first place. In fact, I'd be so mad, I'd follow you back to London and smack the posh out of your stupid head because she will never deserve to be crying when you're walking around without a care in the world. The way you could hurt her is humongous, but you'll only realize your mistake after you made it.
