Jami's POV...
"So now where are we going?" I ask, still slightly annoyed.
"Drax picked up something moving toward Titan," Quill replies blankly.
"Look... I'm sorry," I sigh. "I know you tried your best. It's hard to leave someone you love."
"How would you know?" he rolls his eyes. "You're just a kid."
"I had to leave someone I loved to get here," I reply, nodding my head over to a sleeping {Y/N}. "I did it for her. She fell in love with someone here, but he sent her away to keep her safe. She's too stubborn for that though."
"She sounds frustrating," Quill says.
"Oh yeah, definitely," I chuckle. "But, I wanted her to be happy. So I gave up something I wanted so much, in the hopes that she'd see him again."
"Couldn't she go by herself?" Quill asks, now looking at her too.
"She could," I smile, taking in the structures of her face. "But she's my bitch. I can't ditch her, you know? Hoes before Bros."
In the main window, I see the Q-Ship crash against the surface of the desolate planet. We're closer than I thought. Through the dust, Quill manages to attach his own ship to the crashed one. When the door opens, I see a dark hallway.
"You wanna join us?" Quill asks. "Just, get pissed off and turn into a demon or whatever."
"I can stay here with {Y/N}," I smile. "We'll be out in a bit."
He smiles softly and nods. After they leave I walk over to {Y/N} and begin to shake her. She's been out for about two hours now.
"Five more years..." She murmurs, turning over so her back is facing me.
"Mood," I chuckle. "But come on. Don't you want to see Peter?" She sits up immediately and stares at me with wide eyes. I give her a small smile before an explosion causes us to jump.
"THANOS!" We hear Drax shout. We both bolt out of the door and to the nearest source of light, our bags bouncing against our backs.
Your POV...
My eyes are wide and frantic as I sprint toward the fighting. In front of me, Quill flies toward Iron Man with and uses some type of magnet to pin him to the wall. Obviously, Jami and I can't fight any of them. So instead, we quietly sneak over to a spot where the darkness covers us but where we can still see everyone else.
I take out my popcorn and begin eating. I've yet to see him, which is definitely worrying.
"Die blanket of death!" Drax yells, struggling to rip the Cloak of Levitation off of his arm.
Iron Man finally manages to get the magnet off of him and flies toward Drax, pinning him to the ground as he aims his arm thing at him. Quill throws the electric blanket thingy at... Peter. My heart speeds up and my eyes begin to water. But Big Peter puts Little Peter in a headlock.
"Everybody stay where you are! Chill the F out," Quill commands as he powers his helmet off. "I'm gonna ask you this one time: Where's Gamora?" Father lets his own mask come down.
"Yeah, I'll do you one better, who's Gamora?" he asks.
"I'll do you one better," Drax counters. "Why is Gamora?"
"Tell me where the girl is, or I swear to you, I'm gonna french fry this little freak," Quill threatens, pressing his blaster harder against Little Peter's head. I stand up quickly, but Jami grabs my hand, urging me not to get into it just yet.
"Let's do it!" Father shouts. "You shoot my guy, I blast him. Let's go!" His nanotech gun extends even closer towards Drax's face.
"Do it, Quill!" Drax commands. "I can take it!"
"He can't take it!" Mantis screams.
"She's right, you can't," Wizzy agrees.
"Oh yeah? You don't wanna tell me where she is?" Quill spits. "That's fine. I'll kill all three of you and beat it out of Thanos myself." His head turns to Little Peter. "Starting with you."
A bright red light surrounds me. When I look down I'm covered in a different suit. But most importantly, my hands are on fire, causing a small light around me. I look back up to everyone else, who happen to be staring in my general direction.
I step out of the shadows and point my badass hands at Quill's head, clenching my fists.
"You're gonna get your celestial ass hands off of him," I growl.
"I thought you were on my team," Quill says, offended. "Why are you defending him?"
"You're on the same team," I say, taking another step toward him.
"Wait... What master do you people serve?" Potter-Extended asks.
"What master do I serve? What am I supposed to say? 'Jesus'?" Quill scoffs cocking his gun.
"You're from Earth?" Father asks.
"I'm not from Earth, I'm from Missouri," Quill counters.
"Yeah, that's on Earth, dipshit! What are you hassling us for?" Father asks, extremely confused.
"So you're not... with Thanos?" Little Peter asks, letting his mask retract. My heart skips a beat.
"With Thanos?" Quill scoffs. "No, I'm here to kill Thanos. He took my girl-- Wait, who are you?"
"We're the Avengers, man," Peter answers adorably. I glare at Quill, the flames around my hand only growing bigger.
"Oh," Quill mumbles.
"You're the ones Thor told us about," Mantis says.
"You know Thor?" Father asks.
"Yeah," Quill rolls his eyes. "Tall guy, not that good-looking, needed saving." Peter gives Quill a weird look, but from his position, it obviously hurts his neck. I can almost see the glow of my flames on Quill's clothing.
"Where is he now?" Father asks.
"Nivadellir," I reply. "Now if you don't take your fucking hands off of him, I'm gonna blow you to bits." Quill puts his hands up in defeat, releasing Peter. Once he gets a few steps away, Quill comes close to me.
"Why are you so protective over him?" he whisper-asks.
"He's who I came back for."
