I woke up to feeling soft kisses on my skin, my cheekbones, my jawline. "Good Morning, princess."
I slowly opened my eyes, trying to adjust to the bright sunlight falling in through the window, before I could look at my boyfriend who was grinning from ear to ear. "Hi."
"Happy Birthday, love," he whispered, before leaning down to kiss me.
"Thank you," I replied, smiling at him.
"And since this is your first birthday we get to spend together, I thought it would be justified I make you breakfast in bed," he said, before running out the room and walking in with a huge tray seconds later. He put it down on the bed and then sat down next to me.
"Thanks, babe. When did you get up to make all this?" I asked him.
"Does it matter?" He replied, kissing my cheek. "It's your birthday, Scar!"
"I know, but remember how I said I didn't want to make a big deal out of it?"
"I remember," Harry said. "But I love birthdays and that means I'm gonna spoil you all day long."
I giggled, before taking his hand. "You really don't have to make that much of an effort, honestly."
"Anything for you," he said, squeezing my hand. "I love you."
"I love you more," I told him, before kissing his lips once more.

I spent the entire day with Harry who took me to the fair. We rode several roller coasters, took cliché photos on a ferris wheel and all in all, it was probably the best birthday I ever had.
"You okay?" I asked Harry who was stumbling up the stairs to his house in front of me. He turned around and nodded. "Just not a fan of roller coasters."
"You could've just told me, you know," I chuckled, while he looked for his keys in his pocket, so he could unlock the door. When we walked into the house, I took off my shoes and coat, before Harry covered my eyes with his hands.
"What's that all about?" I asked while stumbling and trying to find my balance.
"I might have another surprise for you," he said, his hands still over my eyes. "Can you see anything?"
"Nothing at all," I said to him, as he slowly started walking. "I swear if you make me walk into a wall."
Harry chuckled. "I got you, love."
I walked forward slowly, relying on Harry whose grin I could literally hear. "Close your eyes."
I did as he demanded and closed my eyes shut. "Are they closed?"
"Yep," I told him, as he slowly removed his hands from my eyes and then intertwined them with mine. "Just a few more steps."
"You're full of surprises, Styles," I said as my smile widened. He chuckled and then let go of my hands. I heard his footsteps on the floor, before I heard his voice again. "Open your eyes!"
I took a deep breath before opening my eyes only to reveal my friends in front of me.
"Surprise!!!" They all yelled at the same time. I looked around the living room of Harry's house which was beautifully decorated with silver and pink balloons that covered the entire ceiling. On a table at the back window, several cakes were set up, not to forget a huge dining table.
I covered my mouth with my hands, as tears started forming in my eyes. Harry stepped towards me with a huge bouquet of red roses. "I know you didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but I thought your family should be here to celebrate with you."
I uncovered my mouth only to reveal the biggest smile I had smiled in a while. "Thank you."
I hugged Harry tightly, before greeting all of the other guests. Niall, Louis and Liam were there, but also my friends; Kaya, Danielle, Nate, Josh and Claire. I gave them all the biggest hugs and for the first time on my birthday, I had a great time.

"That cake was incredible," I exclaimed, staring at the huge cake stood on the dining table. "Seriously, I might just eat that whole thing myself."
Harry smiled at me, his dimples appearing on his cheeks. He was wearing a white shirt that was a little see-through and he looked hotter than hell.
I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him closer to me. "You look damn hot. I can't believe you are real."
I cupped his face with my hands, looking at him in awe. "Thanks."
His hands wandered to my lower back, as he smirked. "You look stunning in that dress."
I blushed and kissed him softly, which made him smile again.
"That dress would look even better on my bedroom floor," he whispered, before his eyes widened. "Sorry, that just kinda slipped out. Was that too much?"
"Oh, absolutely not," I told him. "I agree."
Harry kissed me softly, before letting go of me. "Why don't you go spend some time with your friends? I... I might have to prepare something for later."
"Harry," I whined. "You know that you don't need to spoil me all day, do you? This party is more than enough."
"Oh, but you deserve so much more, love," he said with a grin.

"Hey, little one!" Louis greeted me, pulling me into a hug.
"She's not that little, you're little," Niall commented, smiling from ear to ear.
Louis sighed. "Thank you, Niall."
"Where'd Harry go?" Niall asked, looking around.
"He said he's planning something," I shrugged.
"Oh, I love surprises!" Niall cheered.
"I just don't want him to do too much, you know? I appreciate it, but I usually never make a big deal out of birthdays."
"Why not?" Louis asked me.
"Well, my parents never really threw me parties. Ever," I said, trying not to think about my ever so disappointing childhood. "This is just new to me."
"Wait, so you never celebrated your birthday?" Niall asked me with a shocked expression on his face.
"Nope," I said. "Well, last year I did, but when I say that I truly mean that Kaya, Claire and I watched RomComs all day and ate cake."
"That sounds amazing," Niall exclaimed. "Invite me over for the next marathon, would ya?"
"I got you."

We spent another few hours just eating, laughing, before my guests left.
"So how'd you like the party?" Harry asked me, talking my small hand in his.
"It was better than anything I could've ever imagined," I told him, pressing a short kiss onto his lips.
"Good," he whispered. "Come with me."
He lead me up the wooden stairs of his house, leaving me excited and curious about what else the night had in store. He stopped in front of his room, telling me to close my eyes.
I heard the door open in front of us, as he took my hands again and slowly pulled me into the room, a sweet scent all around us.
"Open your eyes," he demanded. As I opened my eyes, my heart skipped a beat. All around us, over the entire room, were flowers of all kinds and colors. There were so many bouquets, I couldn't even count them.
"Harry," I whispered, tears forming in my eyes, as I looked at him. He smiled before he took my hands in his. "Scarlett Thompson, you are the most wonderful creature to ever wander the earth. Ever since we started texting, I knew I loved you. I knew I couldn't let you go. You are the strongest and the most beautiful person I know. You make me the happiest man in the world," he said, before going down on one knee.
"Harry," I whispered, giving him a panicked look.
"Don't worry, I'm not asking you to marry me," he said, causing my body to relax. "Not yet."
I chuckled, as he held up a beautiful silver ring with a gemstone in the middle.
"It's a promise ring," he explained. "Because when I'm with you, I can just be myself and I feel normal. When I'm with you all my troubles just fade away. Scar, I am so happy I found you, because I could never love anyone the way I love you. You are my sunshine, my everything. I love you. And I know that one day, you will be the woman I marry."
He got up from his knees and wiped a tear from my cheek I hadn't even noticed was there. "I mean, only if you want to."
I smiled at him, as he slid the ring onto my finger, before I wrapped my arms around him. "I love you more than anything, Harry. You make me the happiest I've ever been in my entire life."
As I pulled away from him, he was smiling at me. "You're so beautiful."
"I'm not."
"You're right," he whispered, placing his hands on my waist. "You aren't just beautiful... You are as radiant as the sun."
I smiled at him. I felt so exhausted, yet had I never been this awake. "Kiss me."
He grinned at me, before our lips collided. His soft lips moved in sync with mine, as if we were made for each other only. Harry smiled into the kiss, picking me up bridal style to put me down on the bed gently. He was leaning down to kiss me, wandering over my cheeks, my jawline and to my neck, leaving soft kisses everywhere.
"Harry?"
"Yes?"
"Remember what you said about my dress earlier?"
