I woke up in Harry's arms. It was warm and comfortable and it felt so safe. I had never really been in love. I've had crushes, but my dad was way too strict for me to have an actual boyfriend. But now that he didn't control my life anymore, I started dating Harry which had been the best decision of my life. He was kind, handsome, funny... He was everything I had been looking for. Of course, I didn't intend on telling Harry that he was my first boyfriend. I was a student and had never had a boyfriend before? Pathetic.
I looked out the window, turning my head only slightly, so I wouldn't wake Harry up. It was still raining outside and I smiled to myself, hoping to spend another cozy day with Harry. I just prefered staying home, cuddled up in a blanket.
Harry slightly moved below me and then smiled. "Good Morning."
"Hey," I said and kissed him on the cheek.
"I wish I could wake up with you every morning," he whispered.
"I wouldn't mind."
We stayed in bed for about twenty more minutes before we got up to make breakfast. My arm still hurt which Harry had noticed. He had refused to let me help him since he thought I was in too much pain.
He made us some waffles with strawberries and whipped cream which we ate on the sofa.

"I have an interview tonight, but I'm free until then," he said. "If you don't mind, I'm staying."
"How could I mind?"
He shrugged and put his arm around me, smiling at me cheekily. "We could use that time to get to know each other better."
"Okay, what do you wanna know?" I asked.
"What did you do in your life? I mean, since we stopped talking?"
"Well, I gratuated and then I moved out which my dad didn't really like. He almost beat me to death... again... But I left anyways. At night. I left him a letter and took the plane to London the next day. My aunt lives here, so I lived with her until I had found an apartment and then I moved in here. He tried contacting me a few times, but I ignored his calls and changed my number. I never wanna see that man again. Ever."
I had not noticed that I was crying.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked," Harry said and wiped my tears.
"No, you should know. Because if we're gonna be together, you should know."
"So we're boyfriend and girlfriend now?" Harry asked smiling.
"Uh... If you want that," I stuttered.
"Are you kidding? I've been waiting forever."
"Alright, your turn. What did you do? How did you become the VIP you are right now?" I asked.
He smirked and sighed. "We auditioned for The X-Factor and although we didn't win, we somehow got a record deal... thanks to our fans mostly. And here I am. Tour, fans, people with cameras following me around..."
"Wow, your life is exciting," I exclaimed. "I mean I'm just boring."
"Boring?! Scarlett... what's your second name?"
"Ivy," I replied. I don't think anyone really knew about my second name.
"Scarlett Ivy Thompson! Don't you dare say that you are boring! I mean, are you kidding me?"
Sadly, I wasn't. I never had many friends. I never had a boyfriend. I didn't have siblings. I couldn't tell if anyone thought I was exciting. I was always the responsible one, the one who worried too much.
"Oh my gosh! You aren't!" Harry said and stood up. "Look at you! How could someone look at you and not find you exciting? Your eyes are a maze in which I lose myself all the time and you are damn mysterious. I mean, I don't know if I'll ever really figure you out. And you are brave. Running away from a man who abused you? That is the bravest thing I've ever seen. You have been through so much. And you just continue... Just like that! I don't care what anybody thinks, but you are the most exciting person I know. The most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life. How can someone as beautiful as you even wander the earth?"
And at that point I was speechless. Never ever in my life had it ocurred to me that someone could like me the way Harry did.
