It had been two weeks since Harry had left for tour. He was somewhere in America, I didn't quite remember where. We texted all the time and he called me whenever he could.
As I made my way home from university, I walked across the road. I was just a few blocks away from my appartment. As usual, I took my way through the park since it was just much shorter. The park wasn't too big, but there were always many people.
I smiled down at my phone. I had just received a message from Harry.harry: got time to talk? :)
Just that made me walk a little faster. I looked up and my heart started beating faster. What I saw, made me feel bad. Who I saw... My father.
He was standing somewhere in the crowd. He wasn't looking at me, but I ran as fast as I can. I ran to my house, into my appartment. I locked the door and I could finally breathe again.
With shaking hands I grabbed my phone and dialed Harry's number.
"Hey, babe," he answered the phone.
I couldn't even speak. My breathing was too fast and I was sobbing.
"Scar? Are you okay?" He asked, worry in his voice.
"I saw him," I stuttered and covered my mouth with my hand.
"Who? What are you...? Scar, breathe calmly."
I tried slowing my breathing down. It took me a while to calm down, but I eventually did.
"Good, now tell me who you saw."
"My father. At least I think it was him..." I said and wiped away my tears.
"Your father? Why would he know where you are?" He asked.
"We're all over the news, Harry."
"Okay, right," he replied.
"He's gonna kill me," I said, nervously running my hand through my hair. I checked once more if the door was locked.
"Scar. Don't say that. Maybe it wasn't even him. It was probably just a random man that reminded you of him."
I sighed and exhaled. "Maybe you're right."
"Just try to calm down. I'm sure it wasn't him," he stated, but I still didn't believe it. "Is your roommate home?"
"No, she'll be home by 8," I replied, looking around my appartment. How was I so paranoid all of a sudden? Wasn't I a grown woman who could deal with problems like her father?
"Scar, I gotta go, but I really don't want you to be alone when you're so scared. Do you think-"
"I'll be fine, Harry. You have things to do," I said and smiled.
"Alright. I'll talk to you soon."
"Bye," I replied and hung up.After making myself some food, I called my aunt.
"Hey, honey. How are you?" She asked in her usual happy tone.
"Is my father in London?" I asked immediately.
"No, I haven't heard from him. What's wrong?"
"I think I might've seen him," I said, making my aunt gasp.
"You wanna come by my place?"
"No, I'll be fine... I have some work to do."
"Alright, love. I'll see you soon."
"See you."
