And we have another Love Live birthday, from Love Live Sunshine! On August 1st is the birthday of 2nd year, leader of Aqours, Chika Takami!

Chika is the main protagonist of Love Live Sunshine, and is a second-year attending Uranohoshi Girls' High School. She's also the leader of Aqours. Her image color is orange, and is a member of subunit CYaRon alongside You Watanabe and Ruby Kurosawa.

She and her family run an inn that's famous for its hot springs. She's also the youngest of three sisters. She's childhood friends with fellow second-year You Watanabe and third-year Kanan Matsuura and neighbors with fellow second-year Riko Sakurauchi. Chika's family also own a dog named Shiitake.

Chika's known to be energetic, sociable, and has a strong sense of perseverance, which is shown on several occasions throughout the anime, such as when she tried to convince student council president Dia Kurosawa to let the School Idol Club be approved. Her positive attitude eventually starts to take affect everyone around her as the anime progresses. Due to her very positive side, however, she tends to hide her more sensitive side, and tries not to cry when frustrated, as she feels it would ruin her friends' morale if they see her cry.

In one of the radio dramas, it's revealed Chika has a habit of making puns, and also to explain them without being asked. According to a magazine material, her older sisters Mito and Shima are fans of Muse, though it wasn't shown in the anime.

That's the first of many birthdays this month! The next one's August 3rd. I'm sorry the next chapter's taking long, really I am. But I promise it'll be there as it takes time to plan and write the best story possible for you all. Hence why I hold you all over with Love Live birthdays.
