a/n: I got one of my wisdom teeth removed this morning so I didn't have much energy to edit today :( I might go back and edit some more when I've recovered if I think it's necessary. Still, though, I hope you enjoy reading this one! Don't hesitate to leave a comment with your reactions or feedback if you have the time, I love reading what you guys think :) Have a lovely day or night wherever you are!

You let out a long sigh, rolling your painful shoulders as you turn the key in its lock to open the door to your apartment. With a sigh, you step inside, your movements slow. It's the third night in a row of working late and coming home after dark and it's taking its toll on you. You have a pounding headache, your fingers hurt from typing all day, your neck and shoulders are stiff and your ass feels wooden. Not to mention, your eyes feel dry from staring at a screen for hours and hours and your contact lenses are just about falling out right now. All you want is to spend those few hours that are left on this Friday night on the couch with Hoseok to help you relax and destress, to fall asleep in his arms and spend your Saturday sleeping in and enjoying it with him.

But, for the fourteenth night in a row, your shared apartment is empty.

You can't help but sigh. You're not annoyed or angry at him, of course – it's not his fault his schedule is so full these days. He's been working around the clock on the upcoming comeback, practising and practising and practising with his members, recording songs, filming things, adjusting said songs, then more practising, just to make sure it's all perfect. As a result of it all, you haven't been seeing much of him lately – it's usually just a glimpse of his tired figure stumbling into bed late at night, only to find his side of the bed empty the next morning.

Going in, you knew that there were going to be times like these and that there also wasn't much you could do to change that. But it can get tough – times like these are incredibly important to him and his career, and thus take an enormous physical and emotional toll on him. Not being there to see if he's doing alright under the pressure, to ask him in person rather than over the few texts he's able to send during his breaks, doesn't exactly help your worrying.

You plop down on the couch with a groan, your tired body incredibly relieved at the relaxation you're finally letting it have. Closing your eyes, you lie there for a few minutes. You have to force yourself not to fall asleep before you've had an actual dinner, rather than the meagre salad you had at your desk at six.

With another groan, you force yourself to get up and open the fridge, which is pretty empty, just like the cupboards. There isn't even any instant ramen left. Evidently, neither of you have had much time for grocery shopping lately.

You sigh. Takeout it is.

Settling on the dusty kitchen counter, you take out your phone to order some food. Once you turn on the screen, though, a smile spreads out onto your face when you see Hoseok's texted you, your headache suddenly not so bothersome.

I miss youuu~ join me tonight?

It takes you half an hour to take out your irritating contact lenses, wipe the makeup off your face, change into a more comfortable set of clothes and get to their training room. Probably a personal record.

You stand outside the door to their training room for a moment, briefly listening to the new music you're probably not quite supposed to hear before you open the door and slip inside. You quietly sit down in the corner, waving to some staff you recognise.
