We started on our journey home knowing we would have to look for leads on Amara with the help of our parents. As we exited Wakanda and started to make our way through the thick forest we were stopped by 3 men. They smirked at us causing a collective wave of confusion, "Going somewhere?" the biggest man spoke, his eyes darkening as he stared at us.
"Wrong day, wrong people," I muttered about to walk past when one of the men grabbed my arm, I glared at the arm almost like I wanted it to burn at the mere sight of it "Let go of me," I seethed through my teeth angrily, the man didn't let go of me, I stomped my foot down on his foot. The other men advanced toward my siblings. I hooked my arm under the man's armpit moving my other arm over his chest bringing my hand behind his neck cupping it with my hand sat under his ear. I brought his head down kneeing him in the face keep my hooked arm in place, I moved his head to the back of my knee and fell into an armbar I held his arm tightly in this position popping my hips up. The man grunted out slightly in pain. I then backward rolled out of this and kicked my foot out quickly into his face and his eyes rolled back as he lost consciousness.
I looked up to see my brother with hands on either side of the mans face and his hands a glowing red as he channeled the totem, the man screams out and his eyes roll back and then looking at my sister who had her arms wrapped around the mans throat, I watched the man's hand pushing on her arms trying to get her to release him but he slowly went limp and Hadaya dropped him and he landed with a thump to the ground. I smirked victoriously at my siblings who smiled back. Their smiles dropped and I felt something sticks into my neck, my sibling advance toward me but something shot them into their stomach and they fell and my eyes clouded over. The last things I can feel was 2 arms around my waist and being lifted into the air.
I awoke to a dripping sound, the incessant noise annoyed me as I looked around trying to gauge where I was, I saw a figure lying on the floor a chain wrapped around their ankle and their chest rising and falling in a slow manner. I furrowed my eyebrows, the person turned onto their side and I could see their face, under the mat of blood and dirt I could see T'Challa's face "T'Challa?" My voice cracked knowing this was my fault as I stared at him I went to get up but the chains on my wrists and ankles prevented and movements. I growled knowing this was so I couldn't get the totem that sat on my neck. T'Challa woke up to the sound of rustling chains.
"Ayana?" he asked I sighed nodding "How?" he asked
"One of their goons got me when I was leaving Wakanda," I replied shortly
"Wakanda?" he whispered more to himself "Did you see my mother? Is she okay?" I nodded
"She fine, worried about you though," I said looking around the dark room looking for a way out "For now we need to find a way out of here," I said I paused in breathing as I could hear noises outside of the room T'Challa moved back slightly to be closer to the wall.
"We can't," he said and stopped when a woman walked in. Her hair was pink and it fell down in small curls. Her lips were full and pulled into a smirk. Her eyes were a shade of brown but they held a kind of sinister look to them. She shifted her head and her hair fell to the side as she tauntingly looked at me.
"I expected something more," she paused "dangerous," she said
"Come a little closer, I'll show you dangerous," I said glaring at her causing her to laugh
"You won't be needing this anymore," she said taking steps closer wrapping her hand around my totem but let out a scream of pain causing me in turn to laugh.
"Did I forget to mention that," I said tauntingly "the totem doesn't let bitches touch it," she glared a animalistic growl leaving her lips. I smiled innocently. Her hand swung and my head snapped to the other side as the sound of the slap resonated through the room. Instead of dropping my smile I smiled wider turning to look at her with a look of humor on my face. "Is that all you got, bitch?" her draw set and she left the room leaving me feeling like I won.
