2 weeks in captivity
I sighed waking up from the light sleep that I had taken, T'Challa looked at me with a mirroring expression. I looked around, I had been trying to hatch a plan of escape but nothing really came. One of the normal watchmen came in with a tray of cheese and bread. Two cups of water on the side. "Oh we get cheese today," I mocked the man ignored me and continued on his way out. T'Challa grabbed one of the cups of water moving closer to me.
"Drink," He said putting the cup to my lips I obliged drinking the liquid greedily. This had been my first cup of water in a few days. I sighed when the cup was pulled from my lips. Some water dripped from the corner of my lips. T'Challa lifted his thumb wiping the water away. What surprised me was I let him. I watched as he picked up a piece of cheese and put it into his mouth chewing slowly. He picked up a piece of stale bread and motioned for me to eat it which I did. We ate like this until the small portion of food was gone. I stared at the tray shifting my head side to side as I stared at the plate. It being plastic.
"T'Challa," I whispered he looked at me "Break the tray," I said he looked at me confused I nodded "Break it," I encouraged "I've got a plan," I said he nodded breaking it in half "Slam it into the floor so it looks like you dropped it," I told him he stood dropping it. The glass of water shattered and I stuck my foot out pulling a piece of plastic to me. When the watchmen came in the shard of plastic was under my foot. T'Challa explained that he dropped it. The man rolled his eyes and cleaned up the mess. I smirked as he left. I kicked the plastic to T'Challa "Hold that, they don't check you," I explained he tucked it into his pants waistband.
1 month in captivity
It had been one month in Amara's clutches, our plan had moved exponentially. Today was the day that it was all going on. Morning came quick, T'Challa had been feeding me a bit more to get my strength up. I looked at T'Challa nodding. I hung my head keeping my eyes clothes. "Help, help," T'Challa yelled I could hear footsteps approaching. "She passed out," he said in a fake urgent tone.
"Why?" he asked
"I don't know," I feel a calloused hand touch my throat than the sounds of chains moving. My hands dropped and I fell onto my side, I felt the man come closer and I used this as my chance to wrap my legs around his neck. The man went to stand and I smashed my elbow on top of his head in quickly. I twisted my body knocking the man down with me. I stood hearing more footsteps. I put my hand on my totem feeling the power of an elephant flow through me. I took off in a run knocking the men down in swift movements. I stepped near T'Challa slamming my foot into the chain causing it to snap. A man came near T'Challa and he used his makeshift shank an stabbed him and we fought our way out. It felt good to use my totem. When we got out into the sunlight we took off running from the building. The sun felt great on my skin. The air was fresh. We made our way through the thick vegetation.
We had to of been making our way through the forest for about 2 hours when we finally ran into a person. I recognized her from Wakanda. Her red and and silver outfit. T'Challa breathed out in relief "Okoye," he said hugging her which she returned I smiled
"Your mother will be so happy to see you," she said looking at me "so will yours, Wakanda and Zoya have been searching for the both of you," She said
