Mother and I readied dinner  "Challa," My mother's voice broke the quiet humming Challa looked to us "I hope you are okay with vegetarian, our family doesn't eat meat," Challa nodded

"That is fine with me ma'am," He told my mother my father stared angrily at Challa, father didn't trust him. My father was a wonderful man but very stern and would do anything to protect us. I am so grateful for that but sometimes it causes doubt in our family. My oldest brother joined him in the suspicion. Mother excused me and I left Challa in the hands of my father to get Kya and Makalo. Hadaya was in the kitchen with our mother.

"Kya, Makalo," I shouted walking through the village looking for my youngest siblings. I heard the giggling of Kya causing me to smirk knowing they were hiding. "Come out, come out where ever you are," I teased pretending to look for them. I made a sharp turn grabbing Kya and Makalo in one sweep causing their laughter to radiate. "Found you," I said laughing with them.

"Sister, is it true that Hadaya is getting her you-know soon?" Makalo asked I smiled

"In a week dear little brother," I said causing my siblings to smile "Come, mother wants us in for dinner, you two need to wash you," I said they sighed but trudged on and I smiled at them. We made it home, when we arrived I noticed father and Kazi still in their spots with sharp glares on their faces. I coughed causing them to look at me "Brother, father," I said giving them a look causing them to look away. Mother brought our dinner out and we sat down. Our table full. At the head of the table was father. On his right was mother and on his right was Kazi. I sat next to Kazi and next to mother was Hadaya. Next to me was Kya and directly across from her was Makalo. At the other head of the table was Challa who looked as if he felt sorely out of place. Mother said a prayer over our food and we started eating. Father, of course, drilled Challa all dinner which made for uncomfortable conversation. I watched Challa answer questions, whenever father got close to family or where he grew up he got antsy. His mannerisms made for some interesting conclusions.

He held himself like he came from power. The way he talked, ate and acted was almost like he believed he was of royalty. By the gods, the signs made so much sense.

I helped mother with cleaning up keeping my suspicions to myself. This man had lied to me, anger brewed in me as I watched him from the corner of my eyes. "Mother, I will be back," I told my mother she nodded

"Be back before sundown Ayana," I nodded glaring at Challa

"Come," I said walking out of the house and into the woods. When we made it deep into the woods I came to a stop turning to stare at the man I had allowed into my house "Who the hell are you," I said through gritted teeth.

   "What?"

"Who are you?" I said once more he didn't answer "Are you the prince?" I asked thinking about the prince of the city beside us. Wakanda, Zoyans, and Wakandans haven't gotten along since the mining of the vibranium started. Zoyans had the stones of power, 6 stones gifted to us from the spirits. The Wakandan's had the power from the vibranium we went at odds because the Zoyans believed that the vibranium was to much power and we had to be careful but they wanted to advance. When my great-great- I don't know how many greats talked to the king of Wakanda they came to an agreement that the tribes of Zoya and Wakanda would one day meet but under the circumstance of a dire time of need. The wakandans grew in power and the Zoyan's were soon forgotten.

"Yes," was his answer I glared

"Challa isn't even your real name is it? what is your name?" I asked

"I am Prince T'Challa of Wakanda," He introduced causing my glare to deepen

"You lied to me, I let you into my home as a refugee and you lied to me. I brought you into my village and you lied to me. You realize the danger you have put my family in?" I yelled at him I couldn't believe I was lied to.

   "That wasn't my intention,"

"Than why are you here if not to bring Zoya to its knees, young prince," I seethed the words young prince with so much venom it could kill.

"I only sought out an escape from my kingdom, father told me the tales of the Zoyan's growing up I just wanted to see if they were true," my nose flared

"My father was right, I shouldn't have trusted you," I said before pushing past him in anger, our shoulders pushed each other "Go home, my prince," once more were those words filled with venom.
