We made it back to the house after the encounter with the Wakandans to find our parents stood around a box. "Mother?" Hadaya spoke my mother looks at us with a look of fear on her face our father looked with a mirrored look on his face. Something was terribly wrong.

"Someone is holding the prince for ransom, they want the stone," my father said, the house got very quiet, all of our hearts dropped "Whoever took him left this," my father said holding a sheet of paper, I took it from his hands and read it.

if you want your precious prince back, hand over the death stone.

I looked up at my parents "We can't hand over the stone, we risk losing everything," I said my father looked at me

"But we can't let the prince die," my father said

"We can't risk the world's life," Kazi said I looked up in agreement, my father sighed audibly as he rubbed his face with a look I couldn't quite decipher. Mother put her hand on his arm.

"I can't let the king's son die from a thing that was causing by our family," he said we all looked at him with a look of confusion. "Your uncle Abdu, my younger brother, the bearer of the animal totem back when we were young he did something unthinkable," father said

"What did he do?" Hadaya asked

"He had gotten a Scottish woman pregnant during his travels. She had a beautiful baby girl that she named Amara. Amara was the apple of our eye everyone loved her. Abdu wanted more for his daughter, wanted her to have strength, smarts, everything that came with being a totem bearer but he knew he wouldn't keep the animal totem after I started having children so he told Talia, the mother of Amara, of the death stone and Talia told him to steal the death totem," Father told the story with a shake in his voice "Abdu at first couldn't bear the thought of stealing the totem because he knew the dangers with it but as Amara grew and he realised the dangers of her being unprotected he made a decision, he was going to steal the death totem, so when we were all out with the youngest Abiola teaching him the way around the totem of earth Abdu played sick and stole the totem and tried to leave but our sister Ode who had decided to go home and check on him caught him. He wounded her fatally with the stone, when we arrived back home we found her, her eyes she looked up at us with such fear in her eyes. With her last dying breathe, she told us that Abdu stole the stone and how scared she was of dying." Tears poured down our cheeks

"What happened next, papa?" I asked with a certain sadness in my voice

"She let her last breath go and the life in her eyes drained, I, Adwin, and Abiola banded together though we didn't want to harm Abdu he killed our only sister so we did what we had to do. We hunted Abdu down found him taking refuge playing as a sick young man in a village near the Zambezi river and we took the stone but the fight for the stone ended with Abdu's blood spilt. If I am right, Talia had told Amara that the death stone was rightfully hers and she is here for revenge," father told us I sighed wiping my eyes nodding

"We find the prince," I said "we return him to his family so they don't face the heart break you did and we take Amara down," Hadaya and Kazi nodded in agreement "We start now," I spoke
