Chapter 2

The Mysterious Red Flower

Patrick Wale POV

I’ve been standing here at the field full of white flowers. Staring at the most beautiful red flower in front of me dancing and spinning around the field. The most beautiful flower I have ever seen. While I’m enjoying at the beautiful sight, she look at my direction with her exquisite green eyes and alluring smile. I felt like she was looking at my soul with her pureness heart. But when she notice me her eyes turned to shock, her smile fades and look away. Oh men, why? please come back, I want to see it again.

She immediate grab her things and start to walk away. Without thinking, I rush to her side and grab her wrist. Her skin was soft and flawless with a pale colored but still appealing to look at. She look back with a shock and fear in her eyes. Ah! those eyes, I want to stare at them all day long.

I smile at her, the kind of smile I showed when I’m trying to win a girl that I like. But another bad luck today she forced to release her wrist at my hand making me feel empty not just in my hand but also in my heart. She walked way... I did not follow her, not because I don’t like it but because I can’t. my feet felt like it was buried at the ground.

Now, I’m literary standing here alone when suddenly I felt my phone buzz at my pocket I answered it without looking at the screen who’s calling, I’m still stunted on what just happened.

“baby where are you? We’ve been waiting you for almost a hour. What happened?” I heard Chelsea’s worried voice on the other line.

“I’m okay babe, I’ll be there in a minute.” I snapped and answered.

“Are you okay baby? Is there something wrong?” she asked again.

“I’m coming. Bye.” I hang up and shoved it back to my pocket. I tried to walk again, I still felt my legs are like jellies but thank goodness, I was able to walk away. While walking I remembered her beautiful face. Her pinkish luscious lips that hard to resist not to kiss nor to bite; I want to taste that lips. And her wavy brunette hair that dances with the breeze of wind while she’s spinning and dancing around. She is so graceful. I want her. I wish I could have her...

I arrived in the basement club for God knows how long, and Chelsea hugged me tight the moment she saw me. “Baby what happened? Are you okay? Is there’s an accident? Are you hurt?” she asked while inspecting my body part if there’s a wound or bruises.

“I’m okay Chelsea. Here’s your tacos.” I move her gently away from me.

“Are you sure? I don’t need those tacos right now.” she asked.

“I’m sure.. And I brought that for you, so eat it.” I teasingly pinched her nose and pointed the paper bag she’s holding. “Go and have fun with you friends. Don’t worry much. Okay?” I added.

She pouted at me and smiled “okay, thanks for the tacos. Don’t worry I’ll pay you after this party. Go and play with your buddies, hottie. They’ve been waiting for you for almost a decade.” then she kissed and bitted my lower lips. I smiled and looked at her. I felt guilty seeing Chelsea being very happy while she looking at me. And I on the other hand, still thinking that mysterious red flower that I have seen at the park. Why I can’t get her out of my mind?
