Chapter 4
A Friend
Monica Levi POV
My mom called me this noon and told me that she’ll bringing a student at our home. I asked her why? But she never answered me. And I’m tired of arguing with her. She never stop until I surrendered and agreed with her anyway.
Until now, that creepy guy I have seen at the park haunted me in my dreams. I could not sleep tight. I mean, what do you feel when you see a guy staring at you like he’s already stripping you in his mind? Gross!! But I agreed, he is the typical prince charming of every girl not just in this town but maybe in whole state. A tall, dark and very handsome guy. Hahaha He has a dirty blonde hair with a messy semi-curl hair style. His eyes are so intense while he looked at me, but very captivating with the help of his sky blue colored eyes. His strong jaw line that added to his masculine looks and his full lips that invites you to kiss him. How I wished I’ve also seen his body. Oh hell no, did I just said kiss him and wish to see his body? What’s wrong with me? Anyways, that event really got me; my instinct kicked in, and fear overwhelmed me. Who would not? What if he is a rapist or a serial killer? And he would take advantage of me. I should always be prepared for anything that would happen.
Or maybe because it’s just I don’t like other people staring at me. I fell uncomfortable. My mom said it’s because I never been with anybody. I don’t need anybody aside of my mom and I don’t want to hurt anybody.
Since that day I have met that creep guy, I never when out and go back to my precious place, my relaxing place. The place that makes me feel free from everything that surrounds me. My snowdrops paradise.
--------------
When my mom arrived with her student, I felt like God played with me. We both look at each other like we saw a ghost. But in all serious I would even prefer a ghost than him. At least a ghost will never be a pervert nor look arrogant. I’ll guess he’s one of the jack*** in my mom’s schools.
Why most of the good looking guy are jack***, jerk and man-whore. By the way, why did mom invited this guy in our house. Oh gosh! Don’t tell me he will be my new father? Nooooooo! I don’t want a young hormone dependent, pervert, immatured boy to be as my father. Oh, please I love my mom but if this happened I swear to my beloved father I’ll kick my mom straight on her nuts.
--------------
“Mom please tell me he’s lying.” I looked at my mom who’s smiling at me.
“Yes honey, I asked him to be you friend.” She smiled genuinely at Patrick who’s staring at me.
“Mom, I don’t need anyone to be my friend. I’m contended with who I am. You, dad and I. I’m happy being like this.” I explained to her.
“Honey, please listen to me.” She cupped my face. “I want you to experience a lot of things in life. Outside this bubble of yours.” As her imagination popped a bubble in my head. “It’s not too late honey, don’t isolate yourself.”
“Mom-”
“Please Monica, do this for me and for your father.” she sweetly begged.
“But why him mom?” I protested.
“Why not me? Is there something wrong with me?” He pointed his fingers to himself.
“He is nice guy and friendly honey, trust me you too will get along in no time.” she smiled and stood up to go back in the kitchen. Mom if you just only knew. “Oh, Patrick if you are not busy, would you like to have dinner with us?” she shouted from the kitchen.
“Mom your being too much.” I shouted back to her.
“I’m not busy Mrs. Levi. I’m glad to have dinner here and taste your specialties. And I want to spend more time with Monica. My new Best friend.” He smirked at me and I heard my mom giggled. Now great, I have a miserable night with this creep.
