"Thirsty proposal? What is that Pearl?" tanong ko sa kapatid ko.

"I changed my mind, I should be the one explaining everything for her. I'll borrow her for a while." Pansin ko ang matinding hindi pagsang-ayon ni Pearl sa sinabi ng lalaki.

But agreed like she doesn't have a choice.

"It's your decision, your highness."

"W-What? Anong thirsty shit proposal?"

"Just go with him, he'll explain everything."

"No, sumama ka sa amin Pearl. I don't trust him." Though, he's hot. Mas gwapo pa siya sa mga manliligaw ko.

Sumulyap ako sa kanya, prente pa rin itong nakasandal sa may bintana.

Hinawakan ni Pearl ang braso ko at marahan itong bumulong sa akin.

"I'm sorry Naha, I want to protect you but we owe him. You owe him your own life. Just talk to him and he'll make this clear to you. Please, talk to him in formal. Don't provoke him or something. Make him reject you."

"Come on, the time is running." Tumango ako kay Pearl at nagsimula na akong humakbang papalapit sa lalaki.

"Where are we going?"

"Somewhere safe," inilahad niya ang kamay niya sa akin at nang sandaling abutin ko ito ay naramdaman ko na ang pagbuhat niya sa akin.

The movement was so fast and speed up, until I found ourselves in a dark small room.

Marahan akong ibinaba ng lalaki, humakbang ito papalayo sa akin at bigla na lamang nagsindi ang mga lampara.

"Where are we?"

"My safe haven," ngumiwi ako sa sinabi niya.

The place was so small compared with his room, napakaraming lumang gamit dito na hindi maayos ang pagkakalagay.

"Stock room? Your safe haven?"

"It's the attic, the university's attic. Walang pumupunta dito." Naupo siya sa may lumang upuan, may lamesa rin ito at isa pang upuan.

"Have a seat, we'll talk." Bigla akong kinabahan habang nangangatal ang tuhod ko sa bawat paghakbang papalapit sa kanya.

He's sitting like a real royalty, with his crossed arms and legs while looking at me.

Lampara lamang ang nakapagitan sa aming dalawa nang naupo na ako.

"Start," sabi nito sa akin.

"What do you mean start? Hindi ba at ikaw ang may sasabihin sa akin?"

"Come on, you should thank me atleast. I saved your life. Humans." Gusto ko siyang tarayan at pagtaasan ng boses, but I should remember that this isn't my world anymore.

"Thank you,"

"So? Let's just get to the point. I need your blood for my remaining five years inside this university."

"Five years?! You saved my life for you to kill me by yourself? Hindi ako blood bank!" Pansin ko na saglit siyang ngumisi sa reaksyon ko.

"I heard the blood bank term before," naiiling na sabi niya. "I'm not telling you that I'll be draining your blood for a drink. A simple sip from you, maybe thrice a week will do."

"Why can't you just look for someone else?"

"Drinking blood from any students from this school is illegal Naha."
