Harry’s POV

Before you leave me today

After singing those wonderful words, the stage lights went out and all you can see were phone lights, camera lights and glow sticks, and they looked amazing. The boys and I started to tear up, realizing that it’s the end of our tour. We’ve worked really hard for this, and I just can’t believe how far we’ve come. Our dream, it all came true.

After a few minutes, the lights went back on.

“Look where we are right now, lads” Liam said over the microphone. The crowd cheered

“It was all because of these people right here” Zayn continued

“We would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all our dedicated fans out there “Louis said

“Without you all, we won’t be where we are right now” I continued

“Good bye New York!” Niall ended. Confetti was flying everywhere. Background music played as we say goodbye to all the fans, then we exit to backstage.

I called Kayla when I landed. I lied to her… I told her that I got to drunk and I fell asleep instantly, that’s why I didn’t have the chance to call her. She believed and I was guilty. Why would a man even lie to his own girlfriend? I’m a coward...  I’m so afraid to tell her the truth…

I was sitting on the couch backstage, staring at my phone. I think I should call her. I scroll down my contacts and pressed the call button when I found her name. It rang 3 times before she could answer.

“Hello?” She answered with her sleepy voice “Did I wake you?” I asked in a soft voice

“I’m actually glad you did. I fell asleep” She replied. I nodded even though she can’t see

“Why? What were you doing?” I asked “I was studying for a test tomorrow” Oh yeah. It’s Sunday there.

“Do good in that test, okay?” I said. She chuckled “Okay, dad” She said in a sarcastic tone. I smiled

Even with simple words, she never fails to put a smile on my face. “Go study, I’ll be home soon” I said

“Will that soon be tomorrow?” She asked “Yeah, most probably” I replied. She sighed in a relieved way.

“Good. Cause I miss you” She said. That made me smile again “I miss you too, beautiful” She chuckled

“Okay, go study then get some sleep. I love you” I said “I love you too” She replied before hanging up.

“Hey, you ready to go?” Liam asked. I nodded

We went outside the arena and we drove our way back to the hotel. We packed our stuff up with excitement. Liam and Louis couldn’t stop talking about how they were so excited to see Danielle and Eleanor and of course, I couldn't stop talking about Kayla too. I just can’t get that girl out of my mind.
