Chapter 34

Louis’ POV

I just sat in bed, thinking about what’s going to happen next. I’ve never been this mad at someone before. And I feel really disappointed at Harry. Yes, he’s my best mate. But what he did was wrong, and he hurt my cousin, the only cousin I have.

“Louis…” Harry entered the room. I glared at him, disgust all over my face. I didn’t respond, he sat down in bed beside me.

“I’m sorry…” He said softly, I faced him.

“Sorry? Do you think that a simple sorry will make everything go back to how it was?!”

He’s not the Harry I knew… He’s not the Harry I was best mates with. I’ve never shouted at him like how I shouted at him awhile ago. I was too mad at him.

“It was an accident, Louis!” He shouted back. I scoffed

“An accident?! That’s what you told us before. RIGHT?!” I responded, anger was all over my face. He faced the floor “I got drunk that night, Lou. I-I got tempted” He managed to say.

“Bullshit” Was the only thing that I could say. He did this before. Got drunk, chatted up with someone, then suddenly she just gets pregnant. No one ever knew about this. Just me and the boys, even the management never knew. He regretted that night, and he promised us that it would never happen again. But, he just broke that promise, and he broke Kayla’s heart too.

Zayn’s POV

Liam, Niall and I were sitting at the living room. We told Mazie that it’d be best if she spends the night in a hotel then just come back tomorrow to talk about what’s happening. Harry is a gentleman, believe it or not. He still wants to be in contact with Mazie, not because of her but because of the baby. We just couldn’t help but hear all the shouting from Louis and Harry’s room. Louis had never EVER shouted at someone this loud before. I’m guessing Harry’s the first.

“Zayn...it’ll be better if you go and check on Kayla” Liam broke the silence. I nodded in agreement then made my way upstairs to her room. I knocked but, she didn’t open the door

“Leave me alone!” Was all that I heard. I sighed

“It’s me Kayla… “I said. After a few seconds, she opened the door.

Her hair was not that neat, she was a bit pale, her eyes red from all the crying. By just seeing her hurt, I get really hurt too. She engulfed me in a big hug, she was sobbing in my chest. I hugged her back, like I never want to let go. I tried calming her down, but it’s too hard to make a broken girl calm.

“It’s alright…” I said softly as I caress the back of her hair. She continued sobbing

“C’mon, let’s get out of here” I asked. I felt her nod. I pulled away from the hug and faced her with the tip of my finger lifting up her chin “Where?” Was all she could ask. I gave her a small smile. I knew how much she loved surprises. “It’s a secret” I said. She gave me a small smile.

I went downstairs, hand in hand with Kayla. I told Liam and Niall that we’ll be going out. I grabbed the keys of my car. Good thing I can drive now. I started the engine, then we drove off.

I have a secret that I’ve been keeping for so long… 

*deep breath*

I’m still in love with her…
