I push myself up and rest my head against the wooden wall in the living room, panting as pain ceases my arm.  The guys drop the bags in a corner and take a place to rest as well. I see the others come in with pure concern flashing in their eyes as they look at me.

"Oh my god." Lori gasps as she comes in. "What happened?" She asks as kneels down beside me.

"We were chased and while running i somwhow got hurt." I explain in short.

She noods and observes my arm by slightly touching and seeing the wound. Jake reaches out his hand and passes a water bottle for me. I take it in my hand and twist the cap and start drinking from it. As the water washes down my throat it helps my body to cool down.

'We're gonna head out tomorrow. So, you're gonna have some time to heal.' One of judis's men says, his name is Michael I recall.

I simply nood without saying anything. Judis seems like a tough woman and that doesn't bother me much. But, whenever I'm near her men i get a very unusual feeling tingling down my spine. It feels like they radiate this feeling. I just can't seem to trust these men for some reason.

Judis walks up to me and sits down. More antiseptic and plain white bandage in her hand. She unties the shirt that was wrapped in my hand and twist the cap of the liquid, ready to pour it.

I clench my hands into a fist, shut my eyes close to gather some strength to handle the excruciating pain. She pours the liquid into a cotton ball and presses it against my slitted skin. A whimper escapes my mouth as a sharp pain pierces through me. God this hurts, i think to myself.

'Emily?' i hear a small voice yell out  snapping me out of my thoughts.

I look towards the entrance and watch Jared stumble in the room. His beautiful blue eyes wide open in horor as he ran towards me. I watch him kneel down beside Lori and starts observing the fresh slit on my right arm that was still bleeding out crimson blood.

'Oh my God.' he gasps his gaze hovering over the cut as he looked panicked.

'Hey.' i say as I tilt his face up for eye contact. ' look at me. See, I'm fine. It's just a cut, okay?' i assure him I'm fine when in reality it's hurting a lot.

His eyes soften a bit and he slightly parts his mouth like he's about to speak but nothing comes out. I wait a few seconds for him answer but I hear another familiar, concerned voice call out my name. I look behind Jared to see Harry and Aaron walk in, both of them having the exact concerned look plastered all across their faces as they make their way towards me.

'before you start worrying, let me tell you it's just a cut and I'm okay.' i blurt out not giving them a chance to start the same thing again like I'm kid.

'How can you say not to worry? It's not "Just a cut" it's a deep cut and I can clearly see that!' Harry says in exasperation.

'He is right. This is not just a simple paper cut, Em.' Aaron speak up after Harry making me roll my eyes.

'Stop exaggerating.' They huff in annoyance and keep staring at me like I'm something out of this world.

'Come on, she's a strong girl. She can easily bear the pain.' Judis says smiling at me as she starts to gently wrap the bandage around my arm.

Just when the bandage was perfectly wrapped, Judis told everyone to pack and keep their bags ready for tomorrow morning. I watch them all agree and start to pack without a second thought leaving me here to rest while one of them packed my supplies as well.

As I sit here alone without a distraction, i can feel the pain in my arm. I'm being honest, i may pretend to be strong and act like it isn't a big deal. But, this hurts a lot and it even burns now after the antiseptic liquid was dabbed on. I should have been more careful or something worse could have happened.
