Chapter 9

I wake up to someone shaking my shoulder a little roughly for my liking , I aimlessly move my hands trying to push however was waking me of my perfect sleep away

" Go away Adam " I mumble

" I hate to disappoint you , but I'm not Adam "

I open my eyes and see Emma giving me a smug look and her arms crossed , I groan and bury my face in the pillow

I rub my eyes " Morning Emma "

she scoffs " It's 2 P.M Elda in the damn afternoon "

I shoot from the bed " What - why didn't anyone wake me up ?"

" That idiot insisted on all of us to let you sleep as much as you want , but apparently you weren't going to get up by yourself " she says rolling her eyes

I sigh " Well that's fair , Edmund made me work my ass off yesterday , I deserve some rest "

Emma narrowed her eyes " Elda , I was talking about Adam , can you please fully wake up? "

I mentally facepalm myself     "yeah , we kind of fought last time , he said he'd make it up to me by allowing me to sleep in " 

Emma rolls her eyes for like the millionth time now
" Yeah he's very kind hearted " she says sarcastically

" Yes , isn't he the best ? " I sigh dreamily

" seriously ? .... seriously Elda get up before I kill the both of you with my bare hands " she raises her hands in the air dramatically

I huff "Why do I have to get up though? "

" OH LORD HELP ME " my eyes widen as I quickly make my way to the bathroom before Emma gets her hands on me

I take a quick shower , put my undergarments on and leave the bathroom , the dress that Emma bought me for my birthday is neatly folded on the bed

I raise a questioning eyebrow at Emma " Why's the dress here? "

She smirks " Adam's taking you out somewhere fancy "

I frown and put the dress on " I still don't understand why I'm putting so much effort in this ? "

Emma facepalms " Elda are you human ? Or are you normally this gullible ? , He's obviously taking you on a date "

she adds air quotes to the word 'date' , I grin idiotically feeling happy that Adam might be attracted to me , but suddenly I feel self conscious

" Are you sure that he's taking me on a date ? "

she glances at her watch " Of course I am now come on let's get you fully ready "

Emma brings her makeup bag , and starts adding the makeup to my face , it feels like decades until Emma finally says the she's done

" EDMUUUUUNNNDDD " out of the blue Emma calls Emdund

Emdund stumbles inside the room with a floor length mirror
he gives Emma an annoyed look , I ignore their bickering about why Emma scares him every single time she calls his name  and scan myself in the mirror

" It's not my fault if you scared easil-" I cut off Emma's sasst reply

" Sorry to interrupt your argument , but where can I find Adam ? "

Emma sticks her tongue out at Edmund in a childish manner and he shakes his head

" Follow me " Edmund smiles and then immediately scowls at Emma and starts walking out of the room , I wave at Emma and thank her as I try to see where Edmund went , A few minutes later we find Robin chatting with Adam who's in a dining suit that makes him look even hotter if possible
