💥Jay's Point of View

I sipped on my white wine while patiently waiting for Miss Beyoncé who was infamously late once again. I'd been here since 8pm on the dot because I didn't want to waste no time getting to the bottom of it all but half an hour later, she was nowhere to be seen.

I wanted Sephora back because she'd been my rock for a long time when I struggled but I couldn't deny that I didn't love Beyoncé. She was my first love and she was the mother of all my children which I purposefully did. I'd always loved Beyoncé and everybody knew that- including Sephora- but now she'd come back and it was like she was a different person entirely. I loved her at her worst and her best but right now she wasn't acting like herself at all- or had she changed and this was part two of her?

At last, the queen herself strutted into our private sector of the restaurant. She was stunning as usual because that was what she did best- present herself. Parties, diamonds, designers; it was what she loved to do.

"You didn't miss me too much, right?"she giggled and I huffed.

"I ordered your red wine and pasta since you love to come fashionably late,"I gestured towards her all time favourite.

"I'm not late, you're just early. I've never seen a black person that actually arrives at the time given. You should know that when I say 8pm I meant 8:30pm at the earliest,"she sipped on her wine staring at me. The waitress came to our table with our food but nearly dropped it when she saw Beyoncé.

"So you're actually alive?! Oh my gosh, you're alive! She's alive!"she squealed.

"I'm alive,"Beyoncé mumbled rolling her eyes.

"Can I get like, your first autograph since you've been alive?"

"Can I eat first?"Beyoncé asked rudely.

"I'm sorry, it's been a stressful few days,"I apologised on her behalf.

"It's okay. Can I come back later?"I nodded and she skipped back to the kitchen.

"You didn't have to be so rude. She's just shocked like the 7 billion people around the world,"I defended the girl.

"Well the 7 billion people can wait because I've got an appetite on me and I need to eat,"she grumbled.

"So what's all this about you taking the girls?"

"I'm not sure you've really processed this but I'm alive, meaning what Mathew wrote to you was true. You know, after cheating on me at least three times while I was pregnant with your baby you could've at least tried to see if it was true."

"Where is he anyway?"

"So you can ask about him but you couldn't question my whereabouts? Did nothing seem suspicious to you those months before it all happened? Or were you too busy attending to L'Oreal and her demon child?"

"I'm sorry for cheating on you and believe me, I felt bad for it, especially when you came back and I realised what Mathew said to you. You were acting distant and awkward and whenever I tried to help you or support you, you pushed me away. It was hard for me as well."

"I bet it was,"she muttered. "Hard enough to step out on our marriage while I was preparing to push your child out."

"You gonna quit with the snarky comments?"I dropped my fork.

"You gonna stop lying? Use your damn brain Jay. Why, after two months, would I leave our newborn baby to go to France, not even mentioning that I would be leaving behind a 7 year old Gloria and 5 year old Mirabelle? And then the cruise mysteriously disappears? Nigga this ain't Titanic, the fuck?"she folded her arms.

"It sounded believable back then,"I defended myself.

"Really? Me leaving my family because of a cousin called Aidemoi who was in trouble because of a man called Matthew tried to kill her? First of all, neither you nor Mama had the common sense to know that aide-moi means 'help me' in French. Second of all, Mama should know if she has a niece with that name in France knowing that no Knowles lives there. Third of all, you've met all my family so why would I have a new cousin out of the blue?"she spitefully laughed and my heart dropped. She really did give hints but I was just too blind and stupid to notice. If I wasn't messing with Sephora and already angry at Beyoncé for being off with me then I would've noticed.

"Bey...I'm sorry. I don't know how I couldn't have noticed that the story you said wasn't adding up. I mean-"

"I want all my businesses back as well,"she interrupted.

"Businesses? You only had one, Parkwood Label."

"Which you successfully and sneakily combined with Roc Nation and Roc a Fella Records."

"Then you can have your label back,"I shrugged. Her label was never my property. I just combined it with mine to make it easier to manage. I was eventually going to give it to one of the girls. Then the remaining two would either get Roc Nation or Roc a Fella.

"It's not just that,"Beyoncé held her wine glass. "I don't have the patience or energy to go through that again. Last time I checked, I owned 20% of Roc A Fella and 15% of Roc Nation. That's 35% of your labels and I owned 80% of Parkwood. To compensate for the damage you've done, you can give me 100% of Roc a Fella, 100% of Roc Nation and I'll get the remaining 20% of Parkwood back,"she smiled.

"But that would leave me with nothing,"I frowned.

"You could always start a socks clothing line like Rob Kardashian,"she shrugged sipping her wine.

"You know what?"I looked down to take a minute to myself. "I don't even care about businesses right now because that can be sorted later. What are you trying to do with the girls?"

"Have them permanently with me,"she nonchalantly revealed.

"You're crazy, you know that right?"I chuckled.

"Crazy to think that I can leave them with you after you clearly wasn't thinking about what I told you."

"They're my babies, Beyoncé. I love them. I would die for them."

"I almost did,"she gritted her teeth.

"No,"I shook my head. "You're only doing this because you're angry. Forgive me Beyoncé. I know what I did was stupid and it resulted in a lot of things but come on, we've known each other since we were six years old."

"It's not even about what you did do, it's what you didn't do Shawn Carter. But what I'm about to do is make your ass pay for it,"she stood up walking away from the table. I banged my fist on the table in frustration.

Did she just declare war?
