💥Jay's Point of View

I played over Beyoncé's interview once more before turning off my tv and calling Ms Tina. I was surprised she didn't really throw me under the bus but I couldn't believe she did her own mom like that. Agreed, Ms Tina had her faults and she was just to blame as me but there was really no stopping Beyoncé. All I knew was that her first child was a loose cannon and she couldn't explode any second from now. Only God knew what she was going to do next.

"Hello?"I heard her choke up.

"Ms Tina? Hey, how're you doing ma'am?"

"I'm sure you've seen the interview so take a wild guess,"she sniffed. "Why would she say that, Jay? Why would she hurt me like that on tv?"

"Turns out she really did try and tell us what was going on but we both ignored her. Have you spoken to her?"

"She's not returning my calls and I've tried to speak to her through Solange but Solo's not giving in either. I feel like I've lost both my daughters and I don't know what to do,"she cried.

"I don't know what to say Ms Tina. She's right for telling the truth but then she's wrong for it as well,"I rubbed my forehead in frustration because Beyoncé was really messing with us all.

"Listen Jay, I've got to go but I'll make sure to speak to your wife because she's playing with fire,"she hung up without even letting me respond.

"It's us who's playing with fire,"I mumbled under my breath.

My friend and business partner TyTy came into my office without knocking.

"Nigga you can't knock?"

"Ain't no time for that. We've got an offer on both Roc A Fella and Roc Nation,"he sat down on the white leather couch. I'd been meaning to share parts of my labels temporarily so I could focus on my girls, and when it was time to give them the companies I'd get the shares back.

"Who and how much?"I clasped my hands together.

"They want to remain anonymous but look at the figures man. They're offering more than what they're worth,"he threw me the paper referring to the labels. I read through the terms of the contract and it looked all good to me.

"But how are we meant to lend a company when we don't know who we're lending it to?"I scrunched up my face.

"Man I don't know, but the facts are on that piece of paper. You want to give shares, they're offering more, what else is there to ask?"TyTy was really excited about this and they weren't even his labels. Our good friend Puff came into my office without knocking of course.

"Y'all seen Beyoncé's interview? Man she's ready to rip y'all apart,"he sat next to TyTy and I just shook my head. I wasn't in the mood to talk about her.

"What? You think your wife's going to steal the labels from under your nose?"TyTy guessed.

"First off, the nigga nose too big for her to steal anything from 'under his nose' and he won't know, and second, which wife?"Puff laughed.

"Technically he's only got one wife because he's not married to Sephora,"TyTy argued.

"Technically, they got to the end of the ceremony so they're married."

"Technically, out of the two only Bey has the money to buy any kind of label so we could only be talking about her."

"Technically y'all should shut the fuck up and let me think,"I huffed. Bella burst into my office carrying a KFC bag and a Chick Fil A bag. "Bella, I've told you about knocking. That's how you walk into something you wished you didn't,"it was like nobody was taught to knock. All three of my girls never knocked and it was no wonder considering their mom walked in on me and Sephora without knocking.
