Valerie
I open my eyes groggily and look around, I am strapped to a table like an experiment and I can't move, I jump as the male leader comes out of the shadows. His eyes are bright red and have a blood thirsty look in them. I gulp nervously and try to keep all the negative thoughts out of my head. He walks closer with each step, and he looks like a savage animal on the hunt for meat.
His teeth elongate and I gasp, I couldn't smell a wolf's scent on him so what is he?
Um this might not be the best time, but he is a vampire Amyra whispers nervously
A freaking VAMPIRE!!! I shout at her. But stop as the vampire walks closer and closer.
"You are going to be my little pet, and a tasty snack for right now," He drawls out slowly, while running his cold, pale fingers over my face and neck. I shiver in terror as he rolls me over, the chains move with me as I am rolled onto my side. He now has more access to my neck which makes me shake in fear.
"Please don't," I whisper broken and frightened.
He smirks at me before going to plunge his fangs deep into my neck, I close my eyes but the terrific amount of pain that is suppose to come with being bitten by a vampire doesn't come. I cautiously open my eyes, to see the King of these Vampires lying on the ground, I turn my neck and feel absolutely no pain.
What happened??
He stands up, his body is ridged in anger and he storms across the room towards me. His anger and annoyance radiates of him in waves as he nears me. He sits my up this time and goes towards my neck, he licks it and smirks at me when nothing happens. He then starts to push his fangs into my neck, but just as they start to draw blood and his vampire comes out, a shield forms around me and he gets blown back against the wall, landing with a thump.
His eyes are now blazing in fury, the guy only wanted a snack and he can't get that and from what Amyra has told me briefly is that we ended up killing at least half of his soldiers.
"You stupid mutt, I will now punish you. For you are keeping me from lunch!" He Roars in fury
I whimper and stay seated on the table as he walks out. I quickly fiddle with the chains to get them off of me as they are digging into my wrists and are coated in wolfsbane, which is burning my skin painfully.
I cry out as the wolfsbane keeps burning me as I can't get the chains undone. Panic starts to rise in me, as I can hear murmuring outside the door. The door slams open and in comes 2 males and a strong looking female. The males are both very similar in looks, with brown, straight hair and hazel eyes with a look of anger and madness embedded into them, my guess is that they are twins or siblings. The female has dirty blonde hair with eyes that are blue and green with the same crazed look in them.
Even though their eyes look nice and partly normal looking right now I am sure when they either shift or turn into the night creature their eyes will turn into a blood red colour. They step forward and I don't look them in the eyes.
"Ready, Or Not. The pain is coming!" I hear one of the males cackle as he says this. I can just image the wildness in their eyes, the pure blood thirsty look on their faces and their body's slouched over ready to pounce.
I hold my breath when I get the first hit, nothing stops them from hitting me, torturing me and beating me until I am black and blue once again, with fear and pain rising to the surface just as it was fading away. My body trembles in shock as they briskly walk out of the room, the looks in their eyes as they beat me would have had a grown man running for the hills.
I lay down on the table and ignore the burning pain on my wrists, I close my eyes as the pain slowly drifts away.
"My beautiful mate! What has happened to you? "The male figure asks stepping out of the shadows and slowly, carefully walking towards me as I sit on the grass.
"Um, Ryder?" I question cautiously
He nods eagerly before saying. "I need you to tell me if you can where you are."
"Hmm, okay. Well I know we are in a large forest, the house is large and modern and I was knocked out for probably an hour, if that is any help. Sorry, but that is all I can really remember and they took me from the little pond area." I supply, trying to recall anything when I first walked into this torturous place.
"That is great. You know it really hurts Jax and I knowing you are hurt, when Jax promised he would find you he meant it and so do I!" He states firmly
I nod and he walks over to me, he picks me up and hugs me tightly as if I would fly away like a balloon if he let go even the slightest bit. I giggle softly as he nuzzles m neck, breathing in my scent. He growls when I wince in pain, letting go a tiny bit to stop applying pressure to the wounds.
"We are coming my beautiful mate," He says softly, before kissing me cheek lightly and disappearing.
I wake up quickly, forgetting about the chains until the all to familiar burning sensation takes hold of my body. My cheek still feels like it is tingling from where Ryder kissed me.
MY first actual Kiss, from someone I might be starting to fall for, but slowly.
Jax POV
Ryder has told me all about Valerie, what she looked like, how they interacted and everything in between. He even decided to mention he kissed her on the cheek, which ruffled my feathers, but I let it go. She obviously trusts him more than me and it makes my wolf yip with joy, even if his noise is a bit annoying.
Xander and I are in my office, looking at a huge map, trying to go off the information Valerie gave us. There are 4 places that suit her description and the amount of time she was out.
"Okay Xander. You ready?" I question adrenaline pumping through my veins
"Yes Jax. Let's go get out Luna back!" He shouts energised
"Yeah! Grab the men and send them out to each location, remember if you find anything alert me before you go in. No one is to die unless necessary." I command
He salutes playfully before smiling and running out the door, yelling orders to the men.
Our plan: To go to the 4 areas and see which one has my mate. Some people are going to be sorry very very soon.
